I prefer having...THE BALLS! 😂 That pike your buddy caught is THICC, Man!!! Hands down, the best part of this video is the silly music when the mic was out to the record skipping and pulling out that dink. I was laughing so hard, Cody. BRILLIANT, Brother.

That lake has been producing like crazy! I love burbots, such a cool species. Perfect fish to finish the vid on!

Thanks! Oh they’re neat fish. Have you eatin one before?
@lesstalkmorefishing10009 ай бұрын
@@SaskFisher we don't have burbots or anything related to them down here. They are a quite unique species actually (only one in the genus and the only freshwater species of the whole order of fish). Are they good eating?
@SaskFisher9 ай бұрын
@@lesstalkmorefishing1000 oh darn! It’s funny I’ve never ate one yet cuz been too lazy to clean hahah. But everyone says they’re amazing. They call them poor man’s lobster 🦞

@@SaskFisher well, they are distant relatives of cod, so I wouldn't be surprised if they are tasty like people say

Great episode boyz! Thanks for all the info! You ever fish much with an inline reel?

I do sometimes yah but its on my panfish setup. Its ok..... I really dont know how I feel about that reel. What about you?
@puddlejumper-sk9 ай бұрын
@@SaskFisher I prefer them if I'm in a shack. I find the drag freezes up in the cold but there really good with micro jigs, especially if you have some distance to make it to the bottom of the lake.

@@puddlejumper-sk 100% I’ve had issues with the drag in the cold too.
