SASQUATCH! Day 1 - TWERKING on Truss?

This Memorial Day weekend I am at The Gorge Amphitheater in George, Washington (phrasing?) LD'ing the Bigfoot stage at Sasquatch Music Festival. My job is to make the acts look as good as possible, as well as interface with touring LDs to make their lives easy on our lighting rig. Let me show you the how much I love my job with this behind the scenes look at the production of one of the largest festivals in the northwest.

i peeped a chamsys case, what console was your cohort using? did he get a chance to use the new stadium line, or was it a mq80? either way, you can totally set a playback fader as a fx speed master in the playbacks settings (select the playback, look in the view options, select 'Fader Controls FX size') of the playback holding the cue stack of the effects) if you guys didn't get a chance to figure it out!

Adam P looked like a mq500, only time I've had to play on one of those was during the testing phase - the local dmx outs didn't work and the touchscreens were connected via USB cables coming out the back of the console and back into usb ports on the console!

Electronics111 that sounds like a memorable day. it would be great to get hold of 100 universes straight from the console. I'm quite pleased that chamsys has included the stadium view in their PC version. at least I can pretend to have one on shows! >.>

Or (if that was actually what the person was asking) just record a cue to playback with ONLY the values that you'd like the speed fader to control (for example if it's a movement effect, just give pan and tilt random values) and make the cue stack a speed master and give it the Group ID of the fixtures you want it to control. After recording and setting it to be a master make sure that the cue stack only has the values you want to control (for example by including the cue into programmer and then checking what's in the programmer). That way you can have an extra fader that controls nothing else but the speed/size/intensity, just like masters in GMA2!
