Accidently found a selecting "feature": 1. select a group 2. press highlight 3. normal pressing next/preview selects one after the other 4. BUT pressing "Set" AND "Next" selects each 2nd... 5. pressing "Set" and "Next" again, selects each 3rd and so forth 🙂 Hopefully a total noob, could have shown Christian Jackson a hidden gem ;-)

I knew that starting with the "chauvet obey 40" and wiring/fader manually would give me a good base to understand everything out in front of me for the future. Thanks for this... even if it is 5 years old.

Just upgraded my djm800 to the 2000 nexus a few months ago. Getting more familiar with it but it takes so much more thinking then I was expecting. You have to be locked in to use it well.

Does anyone know if DKN1650 is compatible with the classic non nexus 2000s?

Wow... seriously impressive. I am in disbelief that you are able to capture any video of this stuff all while managing all that equipment all while remaining so calm, collected. That you think about the crew, and as a lighting artist wait until you have some time after everyone leaves to tweak things... I could go on and on... there are far simpler productions which, for some, can be so stressful... you are really talented with this sutff. Thanks for the glimpse into this vast behind-the-scenes world! 💯🎵🎶✨️👏

To truly learn old skool beatmatching is to cover the waive screen as well. Only music no visuals.

I do that and instead mine says "Connect USB storage device into the top USB port". Doesn't say it's been reset and my issue (deck is in reverse, buttons don't work and disc in the player won't eject). Any help is appreciated 👍🏽

I rewatched the video today and it is as exciting, epic, insane and fun to watch . If I had to choose 1 KZbin channel for the rest of my life, it would definitely be this one. Thank you for bringing me all this inspiration.

There are many GrandMA (lighting consoles) here in Manila, but Cebu is really far from Manila, and we still need to ship them by plane. The setup for the Cebu event is very different compared to Manila suppliers, and they somewhat lack equipment.

It's crazy that 5 years ago, I had never touched a console. Now I'm an owner op on ma3, in the middle of a video design degree. Christian I'm go to say you really have changed my peoples life.

Though I absolutely cannot stand EDM music I have long argued some of the best programmers work exclusively in that genre of music and productions. Christian, you further prove that point. Also although I'm a hard-core Avolite console/platform guy I have watched and learned from your video tutorials for many years now. I appreciate your skills and effort in passing along extremely useful information on the use of GMA2 and GMA3. Thank you, Christian. Continued success my friend.
