I was once in that same situation. I was shivering so bad that I thought I was gonna die, all of a sudden a big female Sasquatch found me and rescued me by carrying me to its shelter in a cave where her husband and two small baby Sasquatches about my height 5'9 tall were in. They fed me some of their leftover carcass of dead bison they had killed. It tasted like rubber, but I was hungry and ate it so they wouldn't be offended. I slept the night all comfy and warm between the two babies. the next morning, I had woken up being carried to a ranger station by the husband Sasquatch and gently dropped off. He just waved goodbye to me and ran off into the woods. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it, I'll even take a polygraph test if Yall's don't believe me.

In Australia, we call Sasquatch a Yowie. My house backs on to bush and mountains with one of the highest reportings of yowie in Australia since the 1800s. Sometimes I make a yowie call into the bush and white orbs appear at night around the front door. In the day time almost invisble insects will appear in front of you if you make a yowie call. I believe the yowie is a shapeshifter (multidimensional being) whose spirit can appear in many forms.
Bigfoot hates the aliens because they enslaved his people years ago.

This is pretty much my "neighborhood"; about 5 miles from where I live. Its more like 65 or 70 miles from Portland as the crow flies. It is a heavily wooded area, but not nearly as remote as they make it sound. It's the weather that's the real hazard. I can only imagine they must have wandered into the woods and lost track of how to get back to their car. Lots of people go snowmobiling and wheeling up there, but if they were following those sounds they would have been led higher up into the hills and likely further away from their vehicle. Most people don't realize that the Columbia Gorge has a micro-climate all of it's own which is all about abnormally severe cold and moisture in the Winter and can absolutely be deadly.

I visited the High Desert Museum in Bend, Oregon a while ago (highly recommended) and there was an area just for Sasquatch which is wonderful. There's a huge Big Foot in the center of the exhibit which is darkened for maximum effect, but clearly visible. There is a big screen which has you looking like you're running after the big guy through the woods, but he's not visible. Great imagination! It has a plaque explaining that Native Americans believe that Sasquatch is a spirit, a mystique, not a physical being, and actually is the woods, the rivers and so on. The explanation of their belief makes perfect sense and I loved it and believed it. It's the most plausible I've ever heard.

I actually think it was female, tall and slender, walking very fast across the lawn and went out into the woods. I would’ve never believed it. If I didn’t see it with my own eyes, I don’t care what anybody tells me. I know they’re real whether they’re interdimensional they are Physical who knows. Believe it or not.

Backpacking in Washington since 1971, I'm 68 I have a $55 smartwatch that has GPS and needs no Cell signal to work. You press record when you leave your car and hit playback to return. I always buy a brand new piezoelectric lighter and keep in the package till needed, a flint lighter (Bic) when wet won't light till you dry out the striker mechanism, A Piezo lighter will light once you blow out any water clinging. Proper clothing is critical either way; a lot of errors made here and in middle of summer they would probably be okay. Sorry for Families. There are Smartphone Apps that you can download contour maps before you leave home. As long as you download, the maps will work with no cel signal on location. Again hit record on leaving your car, and replay to return. Your smartphone does need GPS built in...
