Nice video! In Germany we eat Döner Kebap a little bit different :D over here it's actually half a flat bread (similar but not the same as Greek pita) with a filling. It's filled with lots of veggies such as tomatoes, cucumber, cabbage as well as red cabbage etc. Meat eater will have beef strips from a hot spit. Additionaly there may be added chillies or feta. I think that wraps it up- but Döner does not taste like Greek Gyros, the two dishes just seem to be quite similar ^_ ^ Maybe someone finds that interesting ;D

+Tabuhan ASMR Yay. Thank you. I did a lot of research before attempting to make my own Turkish coffee. Someone else was asking how we say 'cooking coffee' in the U.S. It makes more sense to say 'cooking coffee,' but we say 'making coffee.' That is probably because most of us in the U.S. use coffee machines to make it for us. Anyway, thank you for sharing my video. I appreciate that very much and I'm glad to get a positive review of my Turkish coffee-cooking skills. :D

The doner (pronounced doe nair) was served like a wrap and made with lamb, delish for sure! We stayed at a little bed and breakfast where every morning they served a huge continental breakfast but first you had the Turkish coffee, if that doesn't wake you up, your dead...lol They serve it for tourists mainly for breakfast. The white sauce that you like could be a yoghurt sauce with a splash of vinegar and some small cut up pieces of mint. Doner kebabs are very popular in the UK and that's the general recipe we use in our takeaway shops. Also the meat is more likely to be lamb :) Love the videos sass!

And why would your subscribers hate you for trying to get some financial support for the food you buy? I strongly believe that one day you will be uploading AMSR eating videos for a living. But first off, you will need to get some support from somewhere. Right?
@naoueshima9 жыл бұрын
+Chee Tang The subscribers are one thing, I would absolutely and happily support my favorite people, but the haters don't care for MY opinion and the opinion of Sasse's loving fans. They don't see or don't want to see all the work that goes into the videos, the preparation, editing and so on. All their jealous eyes would see is: oh, so she eats on public and gets money for it? Boo! This is the sad sad truth. Amanda Palmer even wrote a book about it - " The Art of Asking or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Let People Help " it's very good, I would recommend it to everyone. :)
@cheetang94949 жыл бұрын
Nao Ueshima On KZbin there's literary everything you want to watch. At the end of the day, as long Sass is not violating any rules then she can make money for whatever she does. Finally, there's nothing you could do about jealous people; how to deal with them is to ignore their negative comments, stay positive, focused and own your success. :)
@naoueshima9 жыл бұрын
I know, but try explaining this to the ones that click on an obviously "eating" video to complain about it being an eating video... On one hand - I am absolutely pro the whole "don't feed the troll" and "ignore the haters" thing, but on the other hand: Sasse is still the one to put up with all the negativity. It's her decision and her decision only. The one thing I can do is keep liking her videos and supporting her in any way she thinks is ok. :)

I am rewatching this, and it just occurred to me. If Turkish people drink the coffee in the evening, wouldn't that keep them up all night?!
@ozansahin35968 жыл бұрын
Turkish coffee is a traditional drink actually. We call Turkish coffee "kahve".And we call breakfast "kahvaltı"(kahve altı) which means "before coffee". but of course you can drink it whenever you want. and you are right about the sleeping issue. doesn't allow us to sleep after drink it :))

Wow you weren't kidding about the cups. They're so cute! I've been meaning to try turkish delight for a long time so I need to get on that. Don't worry about the fail video last week, you knocked this one out of the park.

+AwakeAndTired I don't know where you live, but I actually bought the Turkish Delight at Marshall's for $2.99. It's in their food section. :) I'm glad you enjoyed this video.

@anouk29229 жыл бұрын
Well, here the only sell it in a bun! so its kinda funny to see how other people eat it
@filthyTubesIn8 жыл бұрын
SassEsnacks I'm a reliable source to answer here cos i am half Turkish half Austrian ;-) Döner actually means 'twist' translated to English referring to the big 'turning' skewer with the meat (usally lamb n beef mix). Kebab means BBQ -any kind. so there is the döner sandwich that comes in a bun and is fast or street food. and there is the dinner plate served in restaurants (the one u got). so both exist depends where u order ;-)

It's so funny, I sit on the edge of my seat waiting for you to say that whatever your eating is "really good" and when you do it's such a relief LOL!! That Turkish coffee cup is adorable, I'm definitely going to have to try the Turkish coffee sometime!!
@SassEsnacks9 жыл бұрын
+bowlfullofcherries1 I like the Turkish coffee due to the added cardamom. It's different from the usual, but pretty strong. :)

I really enjoyed this video! I'd like to try the Blue creamsoda, you always try some interesting drinks. And I love your expressions and comments are funny and warming! I thought the coffee cup pretty small, but i can see afterwards why it needs to be! I was having coffee and cheesecake at the time! :-) I see your audience is growing......i'm not the only one who likes to sit back and listen to some good socializing.

Everything looks so so delish!!! I'm not big on coffee or tea but I could totally be convinced by how it's served. That was cute!! Those Turkish delights taste amaaaaazing served fresh. I tried the packaged one in USA and didn't enjoy them much.
