In the Middle East shawarma comes inside a Lafa (thick big pita, which is in the size of a personal pizza when it's spread) and it doesn't include rice. Just the chicken/meat, fresh salad, humus souse, tahini, potato chips, spicy souse, and chopped pickles. all wrapped together in the pitta in a very massive way :)

Hey There! I was going through my news feed on Facebook today and found a recipe for the garlic dip in this video: 1 cup fresh garlic whipped in a food processor with four cups of vegetable oil slowly incorporated while it mixes in the food processor. Add 1tsp of lemon juice and 1tsp of salt. They served it with kabobs. I remembered when you first posted this video and wanted to know how it was made. Have a great memorial weekend!

I subscribed earlier today after watching many of your videos last night. They really did relax me to sleep, which I didn't expect! This video popped on my feed just in time to start winding down my night. I really like how you have a menu of foods together (like the black bean noodles plus kimchi and sides) as well as a beer or soda to compliment the meal. Thanks for making these videos!

Yaaaay you're back!! Hope you enjoyed your trip!!! Your videos have helped me sleep every night for the last month or so! I've had severe back pain to the point of being immobile. Through many physio appointments, it has been found I have scoliosis and have had it for years. I'm 28 and it was never picked up! The chocolate is interesting! We currently have Cadbury chocolate with Vegemite filling.. It's actually not bad!! The sweet cancels the saltiness of the Vegemite! Looking forward to your your next video!

Kylie G Ah, boo to scoliosis. One of my nephews had it so bad he had to have back surgery, but I believe he is fine now. That was so many years ago. I think there are stretches that can improve the situation?? I hope you find some relief from it soon. I've seen a video of the One Pot Chef trying that Cadbury with Vegemite. :/ I recall that he did not like it. :D

Glad to see you again! The bacon part of that chocolate bar sounds totally unappetizing to me like you mentioned, but I love a touch of saltiness with chocolate. For example, chocolate covered pretzels are freakin delicious. Never had the potato chip and chocolate combo, but it probably tastes quite similar so I'm sure it's yummy.

Welcome back and glad you enjoyed the trip...I went to Googlemaps and "walked around" Mendocino, what a charming, quaint beachfront town...looks like lots of cool shops. The middle eastern restaurant I go to told me they whip their garlic into a sauce and it takes 30 minutes of non-stop whipping to make the garlic so smooth....it's like butter.

Christian LeGault Oh, yes. You described it perfectly. That is exactly what it is. I love, too, that it is cool and cozy and you can walk around with sweaters on. Interesting on the garlic sauce. They must make huge batches at a time for all of that work.
