You see, Neuroses was a morale booster. Soul BF was trying to get BF to focus on defeating the corruption. In Discharge, it’s no longer a morale booster, it’s a limit breaker! Since the first song, Tormentor, a lot of people assumed that this Soul BF was with the corruption. But then, plot twist! He was helping BF get out of this “prison” that the corruption set up for him. You see what I think happened is that in Neuroses, Soul BF was trying to get BF to cooperate, but failed. In Discharge, Soul BF managed to get BF to concentrate, which put in sync! That synchronization provided the enough power to escape! Truly a fantastic mod

the first 30 seconds, apparently called Strength of Will according to the instrumental upload, speak to me really deeply. Major "But The Earth Refused to Die" vibes in how his distraught voice started to form a melody, as if he was trying to fight back, hold on to his last strands of sanity, even by himself. I really, really like how you this song portrays his determination there, in a world that decided to make BF the funny chaotic memey dude that doesnt take anything seriously, i can definitely appreciate this a hell of a lot. I've said this already on Tormentor, but having been a longtime listener to your stuff, it's been really freaking incredible seeing your delve into FNF. And, to be honest, I feel like the Corruption mod in particular has served to be a fantastic showcase of both your talents, and how far you've come in music creation. To be honest, I think that that the world getting corrupted with seemingly no hope was to make this week more emotionally powerful. Normally the good guy winning is no big surprise, but in the corruption mod when they straight up defeat the enemy that seemed impossible to beat, that even the most powerful crumbled under battle after battle, it just makes you go “Holy shit, did BF just win?”

the beginning sounds like bf is trying not to give in but he just cant do it. but then soul bf comes in and throws a guitar at bf and then the tension in the air gets thicker and thicker, until its broken and filled with dread as the corruption try's to get bf back by telling it lies and possible truths about how bf "owes his life" and that "they are all gone", soul bf then tries to get bf back into it with whatever he can, and then it works and they get back to jamming...but the corruption says things like "you will regret this betrayal". soul bf starts to make himself sound clearer to bf and says "COME ON" and when they're ready to break out he says "Ready to bust this joint?" all in all i felt a lot of emotions and had a few moments where i was definitely crying, excited to see what happens next and "escape" means

The deathmatch letimotif from 4:20 onward suggests that DD succeeded in reaching out to him. What I'm thinking is happening is this week is taking place at the same time as DD's week, and while he was corrupted at the end of Deathmatch, he still won. Soul BF was waking BF up from the inside while DD fought from the outside.
