Within the past month, I've realized that by FNF standards this song fits the definition of a concerto. A concerto is a long piece of music, especially one that is considered complex. I don't know if this one is still the longest non-joke FNF song, but at the very least it held that title for a while, and considering how many moving parts to it I think the complexity fits the definition as well. (REVAMP TIME!) After Xenophanes loud shout of anger from the previous song, You Can't Run, Bf is left without Gf in the forest, now at Xenophanes mercy, and the demon plans to break the rapper, using his puppets to do the job for him. In front of Bf stands Tails, the young fox still somewhat resembling who he once was. His fur was an ashy grey, a reminder of the level Hide and Seek. His head jerks around, crudely stitched on by Xenophanes and he looks up at Bf. The chikd was broken, his words mixed in with sobs and cries for help, yet Bf just sings along, not understanding the gravity of this situation. All Tails can do is try to communicate with Bf by signing, warning him of the dangers that Xenophanes will being upon his soul. As he recalls his fate, he screams out, trying rid of the memories of that horrid chase, coughing up smoke from the fires that had ruined the chaos-touched land of Angel Island, the names meaning being melted away and reduced to a hellhole... And yet, Bf signing, simply just being brave.. it makes the fox think to himself, the gears in his brain turning. No, he can't keep fleeing, he can't always be afraid and cry out for help that will never show its face. The fox, despite his weakened state, still wants to stand with Bf. With his soul redeemed, Xenophanes takes notice, and brings Bf to him. Xenophanes towered above our rapping lil goober, and does the usual talking about how Bf shouldn't even continue this, he is god, this is pointless, blah blah. But, underestimating Bf, he decides against killing him himself and sends him to the echidna. Before Bf slumps Knuckles. It was a sad sight to see, the once so proud echidna so muted in color, so quiet and exhausted, so.... defeated. He doesn't move much, just swinging his body around tiredly. It truly was sad to see... Yet, as he mumbles his way theough the song, he remembers... his home, his duty, who HE is. He is KNUCKLES the echidna, not some puppet made to be danced along the stage like a fool. Standing up tall, he is ready to fight with Bf, ignoring his pain. After all, he is rougher than the rest of them. Xenophanes brings Bf to him again, and this time is annoyed. He doesn't get why Bf is trying to redeem all their souls, seeing as how they're all worthless puppets for him to play with. He sends Bf away, hoping this time, he gives up his crusade, still too ignorant to realize that his plan is failing... The final one... the true boss... Eggman. Unlike the others, he is louder, prouder, standing up tall. He disregards his injuries, laughing at Xenophanes failed attempts to kill Bf, and doesn't let up on the notes and the speed, proving why HE is the villain in the series... But, Eggman's always had that softer side to him... As he thinks to himself, gaining his will and defying Xenophanes, he looks at himself, seeing the disappointing corpse pretending to be the real one in the mirror that separates them. Everything the doctor had worked for, sacrificed, all flushed away. Their only hope was a rapper... But, Eggman breaks the madness, the glass of the mirror shattering before him, the shards sitting at his feet. He signs louder, prouder! He is **EGGMAN**, no simple fool! He reviews his defeats and his failed plan to best Xenophanes and scoffs as he stands taller, no longer hidden away in the shadow of the demon! His plan was never truly foiled, rather momentarily paused. He made the miscalculation of believing he and the others could muster up the willpower to best Xenophanes.. but Bf was the perfect candidate. With his goal set in mind, he looks down upon the blue-haired rapper, the fires of genius lit once more, and he spoke a sentence that would've chilled most to the bone; "Welcome to the Eggman Empire." With one last laugh, Eggman is redeemed, and Bf faces Xenophanes. The demon is angry, threatening Bf and even trying to kill him, but the three souls stood strong before the false god. No longer was Tails scared, no more was Knuckles tired, and no longer was Eggman the villain. Xenophanes felt scared everything he worked hard for now all torn up before him.. all caused by a RAPPER. He desperately tries, but he can't win... Soon, the demon... breaks down. For once, it wasn't the viscous blood running down his cheeks... instead, it was tears. Everything he worked for to prove himself was ruined... how would others exes see this? He felt shame, falling to his knees as he gave one last push to get Bf away... but to no avail. The demon gave up, returning to the small form he took upon meeting the rapper for the first time... and he disappeared, his fate left unknown... As for the spirits, they could rest easy now, all of them redeemed and saved. As they ascend to a safer place, Bf can only watch, waiting for Gf to find him so they can go home. He ponders to himself... 'Will i ever see them again?' The longer he dwells, the more sadden he becomes, yet he also felt excited if he could ever meet them again.... But little did our rapper know, there were plenty more demons waiting for him... some stronger than Xenophanes... (Welp, that took too long. This is honestly kinda silly goober.)

Man, after so many time of listening to other songs, like remixes, covers, encores and even more stuff, returning to the original one, it's nostalgic.
