The kage did a shit job, but sasuke's plan is completely mired in bias and resentment. He's not thinking clearly and he's letting his spite for the system that did him wrong get in the way of making things right. His credibility is shot. Are his feelings justified? Sure, he's been through some serious shit. But does that mean creating a fascist dictatorship and ruling over the world as some sort of six paths vampire, killing anyone who would oppose you, is THAT "good"? I don’t think sasuke is immature, he is misunderstood like Pain, Obito, Madara, and Itachi. The Kages are responsible for having a bounty on sasuke. The Kages and bijuu are also responsible for all the 4 shinobi wars and his clan’s massacre. Sasuke’s philosophy is more convincing than Nagato. Nagato’s philosophy is essentially killing every nation so that they would never declare war on each other. Sasuke’s plan is essentially become a King or monarch that would enforce peace after killing the bijuu so that no one could abuse their power. Like clearly sasuke’s plot twist makes logical sense for his character, even though I disagree with his philosophy. I respect how he came to that conclusion. And no what sasuke did isn’t an excuse,… hopefully the next series of episodes would explain better. Because sasuke’s philosophy of revolution is completely misunderstood,… like Obito’s nihilism. Pain’s idea is impractical, while Sasuke is more realistic. He isn’t just senselessly killing people just cuz he wants to,… he wants to reform the world by force so that another Nagato wouldn’t emerge because of Naruto’s idea of working with the Kage and Bijuu. And sasuke reflected upon Itachi’s actions and his memories to justify his philosophy. Naruto reflected upon Itachi’s words. This fight was foreshadowed since og naruto.

Sasuke is right about something, in this whole situation and the war, as well as the genocide of the Uchiha clan, the authorities, or rather the Kage, are to blame. The system is out of order, and the other way out is how to destroy the system and create everything, in Sasuke's opinion, this is correct. If you remember, it was Hiruzen who started sending genin children to the battlefield, and Tobirama founded the Ninja Academy due to the lack of combat power in the village. Hiruzen was unable to eliminate Danzo and was unable to negotiate a truce with the Uchiha. Because of Hashirama, Madara became so revengeful towards the entire shinobi world, and because of their enmity, Tobirama came to hate the Uchiha. And all the Kage are to blame for the war, because all this time they were always hostile, and before the announcement of the 4th shinobi war, they were ready to fight forever, which created an organization like Akatsuki. Because of Danzo, the first members of this organization appeared.

No, actually his plan really makes sense. This is the reason why he requested to orochimaru to reincarnate the 4 hokage to know the history and the root of all conflicts. When people say they hate Sasuke it confuses me because to me a lot of the time that hate comes from a place of privilege that is unjustified. Sasuke's entire clan was murdered because of prejudice. People will say oh but they wanted to revolt and conveniently forget or omit why they wanted to revolt. The people who love Naruto so much to me are in favor of the status quo, i.e. everything that led up to this moment...war. Yes, Naruto is idealistic, but then so was Hoshirama and look how that turned out. The road to hell being paved with good intentions and all. Naruto's main goal in life was to be Hokage because he wanted to be liked and accepted, not necessarily because he wanted to lead. His obsession with Sasuke was about him not wanting to lose a bond and not because he understood were Sasuke was coming from. And while everyone loves Itatchi, let's not forget that he played a huge role in the amount of hatred Sasuke feels towards the entire ninja world. A world that would force a 14 year old to commit genocide because they had forced the hand of a clan they'd oppressed. ETA: most of the people who hate Sasuke seem to forgive Obito rather quickly for starting a world war in which thousands of people died over the death of Rin. While at the same time glossing over the fact that Sasuke was a witness too his clan being murdered by is brother only to find out it was on the orders by the leaders of the Leaf. I like sasuke a lot but not over naruto. And the reason is we ourselves will most surely, do and think like sasuke if faced with those issues and circumstances. And to do what naruto does or speaks of is so hard. Because being like naruto is almost impossible and if even everyone tries even a little to be like him, the world would be peaceful. To have empathy and show remorse to even ur worst enemy isn't something easy. That's the reason he is the hero of the story, so kids can atleast get some good habits from him. Sasuke, pain, obito and madara are my most favourite characters not because they are heroes but they depict the human nature more realistically than naruto.

Lindsey really didn't think this one through in her logic at 15.33. From her perception, the Kage the great leaders came together and created peace recently for the first time in history. Not to be rude, but Lindsay should listen to what Sasuke is really planning to do first. From my understanding, Sasuke is basically going to become another Lelouch from the anime Code Geass, or more accurately another Itachi. He is inspired by Itachi's way of life, to be rewarded by hatred instead of love for his sacrifices. To protect the world from the shadows but get hated instead. Everything will become a scheme/plan that he laid for the world to go in a direction that he envisioned, similar to how Itachi schemed and planned for Sasuke, to appear as a villainous older brother and to be defeated at his hands and let Sasuke become a hero. Sasuke plans to become a tyrant and get rid of everything wrong with the world, namely the 5 Kage system, the village system, the 5 Daimyos (Kings of their respective countries) and the weaponisation of the Tailed Beasts chakra. He will force and reshape the world to band together as one country, one village and one system, by getting rid of the distinction of villages or countries. Even in this latest Ninja War, even though the world took a step to have a Shinobi Alliance, the fact still stands that they are separate villages each with their own goals and agendas. History is bound to repeat in the future, with the Tailed Beasts being weaponised somehow for the benefits of the villages, repeating the tragedy and suffering of people like Naruto and Gaara. Or people like Itachi suffering and dying for the village to prevent war from happening to protect their own villages. Or people like Kakashi and Obito fighting and suffering for the village in another war. After forcefully changing the world, destroying the old systems and putting the new systems into place, Sasuke will gather the hatred of the entire world onto himself. And when he dies, either naturally or by the hands of someone, the chains of hatred and revenge will also end with him. The world can finally move forward as one entity, free from hatred.

Sasuke does care and is willing to endure seemingly endless suffering and loneliness because of his brother and ninja history, but it is that same understanding that is used for his eventual talk no jutsu. He views Naruto and the previous leadership as obstacles to his new regime. Sasuke knows Itachi loves the village system and the leaf but why?, and knows from Hashirama that it brings order out of chaos thru hierarchy and anti war-profiteering union where he could oversee and enforce (genjutsu especially) at the top but also allows for new kids/souls to safely enjoy, learn, grow up, and do appropriate missions unlike the infinite dream. Itachi protects his people, but, trying to understand him, the one scene that sticks out is when he and Sasuke did sleeping bags outside, so maybe preserving as much opportunity to show your appreciation for others was something Itachi also fought for

While Naruto inherits from Jiraiya the meaning "endurance" of the kanji 忍 used for the word shinobi, Sasuke takes on the meaning of heart 心 severed away by blade 刃 (the two kanji form the one for shinobi), cutting away his own emotions and acting from the shadows like Itachi once did. But Itachi realised that he was wrong and he left it to Naruto to teach the same lesson to Sasuke. Personally I really love this fight, it's the culmination of all of the growth these two had that started in the first part and went on for the entirety of Shippuuden, and it goes to the heart of what the series is about.

Sasuke plan is a better version of madara and pain's plan. Instead of pain using the fear of nuking places which he says would end up with a war between other people nuking each other eventually and tailed beasts being used again. Sasuke is like i'm the rinnegan god, I'm the nuke I don't need anything else. I get rid of the tailed beasts and i will be the nuke itself i got the power so nobody can abuse me except me. He already said it before he doesn't care what people think about him becoming hokage it's the first thing he said when he showed up so whether people complain or not doesn't really matter. He easily glanced at all the tailed beast and put them in a genjutsu with zero difficulty i don't think he is afraid of any other person besides naruto. If he can glance at all the tailed beast and put them in a genjutsu zero difficulty, he probably doesn't even need to execute a few people he can probably control them the same way Obito controlled Yagura the mizukage. Instead of relying on fake dream to create a peace society sasuke is just gonna alter the real reality in a better way then pain because pain just wanted to nuke places and then he says eventually other people will use the tailed beast to start nuke wars and shit that shit does not enforce peace that shit is just temporary, but if sasuke can be a god by himself he is the only nuke around. He is trying to get rid of the of the old system. Like the first hokage selling tailed beasts which started most of this shit, or like the cloud village stealing byakugan eyes. Danzo and tobirama and the uchiha stuff you can tie everything back to all the previous leaders. That is why he needs to get rid of them, beloved or not most conflict appears from them.

A lot of people are saying that Sasuke's idea is more logical and they shouldn't hate on it too harshly, however, as was pointed out, Sasuke evidently believes only he has changed and that only he is capable of change, he doesn't trust anyone but himself and he doesn't believe in anyone but himself and it's that lack of trust and belief in others that ultimately proves he is wrong, because other people can and have changed, the current Kage have, Obito did, even Madara did to an extent, like with all the Naruto villains, they lack optimism and only see things from a pessimistic view of others, everyone else is a failure so I should step in and kill/control them in order to save the world from hatred/pain. Sasuke's plan would work, but he's wrong about the world and it's that lesson that he has to learn, or else he will fail like everyone else.

Sasuke is willing to bear all the hatred of the world. He has never been one to care about people's opinions on him, so he doesn't mind being hated by everyone. Also when he says "I have no reason to love her or be loved by her" and later on (no spoilers), we see him trying to reject those bonds he has cause he still thinks loneliness is the way to go. He doesn't see himself as a person worthy of love either, reason why he won't listen to Naruto, Sakura or Kakashi When Naruto relays Itachi's words about being Hokage and being acknowledged he doesn't care. He would rather pay attention to his actions than his words. He knows Itachi failed but now Sasuke is more powerful, he has more means to bear the hatred of the world, like Itachi did among the Leaf. Itachi's sacrifice avoided war for many years and it sort of worked. Now Sasuke can take it to a bigger scale. Most importantly Sasuke is not Itachi, he has no reason think the same way

I always think Sasuke is a Seinen protagonist trapped in Shounen world where he doesn't belong because of his complex point of view and everything that comes along. If you look at the ninja world from Naruto's view is basically bad guys going against Konoha, saving friends and becoming the strongest and the hero, getting all the attention and being always right. But from Sasuke's view there's a more realistic and mature touch, you fight against a goverment who oppressed your clan and possible have killed you when you were a kid which you didn't know for 17 years and used to fight for. Having a brother delusionally believing he did the right thing by killing your family for a broken system, mental abuse, revange etc. Sasuke gets a lot of hate for his personality and misunderstood intentions. Any character similar to him I see in other manga/anime doesn't get as much hate as him. A character that come close in my mind may be Guts from Berserk, edgy personality, fighting for revenge, mental abuse (surprising a cursed mark too). The difference is that in Berserk his actions and intentions are portrayed in a good understanding and serious way. As for Sasuke where he's pretty much taken as a joke and considered just another broken character. Because in Narutoverse only Naruto's needs count since he's the protagonist and he's point of view is showed the most. Most characters who come along with him either have similar or the same reasons as him or nothing else. And the rest of the cast that go

After everything in this show that has to do with sasuke, i have to say i legitimately dislike the man. before anybody starts talking about how i don't "understand the depth of the character." I do. that's why i dislike him. i understand the trauma imposed by his brother is severe. that is something you cannot forget. (when i say it was his brother, i mean the initial trauma.) Having said that, this dude escalated from: kill brother, gain power, kill leaders, gain power, kill village, gain power. all while pushing away everyone around him. including the people he went out of his way to recruit. Including trying to kill them multiple times. even at the beginnin of the show when he was gonna LITERALLY USE KIRIN ON NARUTO AND SAKURA. even to now he has no remorse for HIS own actions. This is my point: Just because there is a reason why a character would choose to do world domination (i.e. Sasuke and his issues), it doesn't make the plan for world domination good. It just means he has a fairly well crafted story. Also, it's not a good plan to literally enslave the world with your own power, beacuse someone will come along and literally innovate to surpass you. At least in real life. Also very clearly losing his mind the further we get in the show, ya know...on samurai bridge. What happens if he loses himself like that again. now that he has literal six path powers. TL:DR: I don't like sasuke because his goals transitioned from defeating those that did him and his people wrong to literal world domination the literal day he got planetary level powers...and i'm supposed to believe he worked out a brilliant plan.

I like how everyone tries to justify Sasuke's plan of revolution by saying he had tough childhood. Sasuke's plan although not perfect, is better than Naruto's vision (I say vision, since he had no plans at all). Sasuke ironically follows the way of Danzo who followed the way of Hashirama. Dictatorship is not good, but is preferrable to the world wars. Plus I do not think Sasuke would make a bad Kage/Daimyo/Shogun of the shinobi world. I actually would love if they made an episode about Sasuke's dream world where his revolution took place, just to see if the world he has planned to build was so bad as many people say.

I really wish people would actually try to understand Sasuke's ideology. Because it's more complex and deeper than it seem. Lindsay always try to generalize Sasuke to make him stupid. Sasuke's entire family was killed by his brother and his entire life was being manipulated, he had to cut his bonds wit everyone. When he achieved his goal he was lied again. Just imagine if something like this happened to you. Try to be in his position, he was still a kid. His final ideology MAKES SENSE, for a thousand years nothing changed, wars and more wars, human using tail beasts, villages fighting each other... It makes sense to destroy the tools shinobi have always used to fight each other and then rebuild everything from scratch with having 1 supreme leader that no one can defy, at this point of the serie Sasuke WASN'T evil, he wasn't going to kill and torture people, his goal was peace. Naruto's ideology is naive, peace never last forever. As soon as Naruto and Sasuke would have died without the introduction of the otsotsukis in boruto villages would have nothing to stop them from attacking each other. All you need is 1 fucked up leader and BOOM.

First I want to say: Jiraya was the GOAT in his own way, he was the master, well, I guess he was the GOAT-master :) I think Sasuke was mostly just being petty at this point, realizing Naruto might have been right all along, and knowing his own failure and direct involvement in starting the great war, I think he was grasping for straws, trying in any way to sabotage what Naruto was about to achieve and still telling himself that any way would be better than Narutos But I think Sasuke could be forgiven for being so young and gone through a lot of shit that made him go instable.. Madara on the other side was an adult both making decisions and acting kind of like a mean drunk that has a hard time accepting any of his reality and while self sabotaging he keeps blaming others instead of taking responsibility What they have in common is that they are thinking like robots, just data in, data out and trying to put the pieces together, Madara took his time with things, Sasuke is just getting to work as soon as he has 2 pieces of the puzzle that seem to fit and forcing those pieces together :)

I thought hear sasuke just wanted to fight Naruto one last time to get rid of all the frustration caused by the elders because in previous episodes it was Naruto who said to sasuke that he gonna take all his hatred. In normal conditions Naruto is not gonna all out against the sasuke bcos he care for him that's why sasuke created some stakes for the Naruto to fight for them. At this point sasuke wanna cleanse his heart by throwing all hatred out on Naruto bcos he is the only one capable. This is my theory here. By the way we can think of many reasons at this very scene. I think, That's what writer wanted from us to do.

This is Sasukes biggest weakness biting him in the ass once again. Wanting to do things just by himself and carry the burden just on his shoulders alone. First at the moment Itachi showed up Sasuke attacked him even without thinking. Then leaving the village he thought he alone is able to beat Itachi. Later faught The Kage on his own and was just saved by Tobi. Then he faught Danzo and also was saved by Tobi. He is that way because he things he has to do everything on his own and pushes everyone who reaches out away. I still understand why he wants to have a big change to the shinobi world. The Sandaime Hokage messed up really big time with the Uchiha. But at this point while seing Naruto uniting all the shinobi under one alliance, making friends with all taled beasts and still treating him as a camarade. That still doesn't affect him at all? He still things that Naruto isn't capable of changing it? And that sure pisses me off. And I hate that it pisses me off. Kaguya was shit, yes but I am not mad that I hate her inclusion in the story. I dislike this turn even more because Sasuke is 17 and should be able to see that the world is already changing to the better. But the past happened and can't be undone. Also his mindset, that he things when he kills all 5 kage will actually cause piece is so off. Sasuke never showed empathy towards anyone. And this is a new peak he reaches. As a character he is still interesting because if someone would ask me if he is protagonist or antagonist I would have to say it shifts. Not once but all the time. First protagonist Then when he leaves antagonist Then when he fights Orochimaru Protagonist Then in his fight with Itachi he is supposed to be the protagonist but in truth both him and Itachi where. Then he fights that Kage and is the antagonist again Then he fights Danzo and is the protagonist again Then he asks Sakura to kill karin and is the antagonist again etc etc... Anyhow let's see how Naruto gets his talk no jutsu work on him finally.
