I don’t think you gave Sasuke enough credit for thinking things through. He’s literally saying that Naruto’s dream is too good to be true. There’s been peace in the past and someone always screws it up. To be fair, he is describing it like a dictatorship, but he’s essentially saying everyone can live happily. He’s not going to control villages through combat and he’s not power hungry. But the minute a Madara or Danzo shows up to start a war, he can pay them a visit. Danzo didn’t start wars, but he committed war crimes for the “sake of the village.” Killing the beasts is kinda heartless, but it’s intended as nuclear disarmament. I don’t support the plan, but it doesn’t sound as evil or stupid as rendering everyone catatonic or dead.

We gave it more than enough credit. His plan is just as naive as naruto's, just in a different way. He came up with this plan less than 24 hours ago, and expects that with all of of his psychological baggage, he will stay vigilant and just as empathetic as naruto over all of eternity. Just as empathetic, even though he's on more than one occasion fought with the intent to kill all of the people who care for him most and just want the best for him. Up until breakfast this morning, his entire goal in life was to kill everyone in hate and revenge. Then after one day we're supposed to believe that this guy has it all figured out? he's a 17 year old kid with more trauma than anyone else currently alive. And we're suppose to trust this unhinged child with the lives of millions? I like Sasuke, even if Lindsay doesn't. But this plan is terrible. Eternity is a LONG time and he is not mentally prepared for this promotion. As evidenced by the fact that he immediately changes his mind at the end of this fight. because in the end, he wasn't actually concerned with the lives of random people all over the world. What reason does sasuke have to care about people a world away when he can't bring himself to let his best friends get close without killing them? No reason. The entire point of this plan is to show us how far his trauma has taken him, to reinforce the shows main ideas. "Never give up" "Don't forget your friends" "Entrust the future to the next generation"

He is emotionally intense and just like a real person, doesn't have a perfect hold on his psychology. He genuinely thinks he's right, but just stop and consider what he's actually saying and what he's been through (and consider how things eventually turn out), and you'll see not some perfect edgelord badass, but something a lot more human and flawed. and that is WAY better to me.

I kinda understand Sasuke now. The guy just has clinical depression. I don't mean it as a joke, but I know a girl irl, very close friend of mine, she suffers from depression since she lost her dad to an accident. I'm not gonna pretend I am her Naruto or something like that but her actions are exactly the same as how Sasuke behaves here. The sad part about storing up this sadness inside you and bottling it up is that it eventually puts you in a place where no one can actually make sense for you, all you can really do is be there for them. I made her watch Naruto last year and Sasuke immediately became her favorite character and she even said that she sees herself in him. So when I rewatched this episode today with you guys Sasuke's actions suddenly made a lot of sense to me and infact it's Naruto's actions which imo are kinda nonsensical but that's why he is the hero of the show and the mc of Jiraiya's novel. He is 'better' than the average person and has a unique perspective on life and what it means to be a shinobi that puts him above everyone else in the show. This show is almost over damn, quite the journey, don't think I have actually stuck around for the full show episode after episode, everyday for any reaction channel lmao you guys are cool. I am seriously not into Boruto tbh but I'll stick around, I know most anime reaction channels lose some viewership once Naruto gets over but you guys are like a TV series for me at this point lmao. I think you’re giving Naruto too little credit by calling his actions nonsensical. Naruto took the entire series to develop and use this final battle to show Sasuke everything he’s learned-not just in combat, but using all his past experiences and trauma and encounters with so many different people to form the perspective and empathy that he has now. He didn’t have any of that when he fought Sasuke the first time at the end of Part 1. His unique perspective doesn’t come just from him being the main character-over these 400+ episodes, we saw Naruto genuinely suffer and try to learn and understand the perspectives of so many different people before maturing into the person he is now.

Actually if you are not aware, it has been hinted and protrayed throughout the entire series of both Naruto and Shippuuden that naruto uses his Clones when he feels cornered into a tough position and also it helps him feel less isolated. But it was never mentioned directly in the series until now, when Sasuke finally revealed that naruto's clones is actually a weakness because he only does it when ever he feels like he needs the numbers to help take down his opponents, thus making him more vurnable to attack.

@@dancarli8639 Well part of it makes sence though. I remember talking about this at great lengh when this chapter was first published. It is different for manga readers then anime fans, because we deduce and analysis every little panel and scene for a whole week well waiting for the next chapter. This paticular moment was interesting because its the first time that anyone in the manga stated that his clones are there just to cover up his loniness and solitary lifehood. It kind of hit us readers like "wow so someone finally had the balls to admit this directly to naruto" It stabbed him right where it hurt, both metorphically and psychologically. Its funny how people would make such a great deal over something like that but its quite significant when you think about naruto as a character and why he feels safe with all his clones all the time.

To dissuade them from fighting amonst themselves He thinks the only reason the five kage were united was because there was a common enemy. I like how in the first fight they had in part 1 where Naruto and Sasuke start out slow and as the fight progresses it ramps up in intensity and power. But in this fight they start off fighting hard using all they have in big attacks and it trickles out into this exhausted fist fight between teenagers. Reminded me of the 1st Pokemon movie tbh. Another thing I was just randomly thinking about was the reincarnation of Indra and Ashura. When Madara first died he was very old. But somehow Sasuke is still a year older than Naruto despite Hashirama dying awhile ago who is also the reincarnation of Ashura. Which leads me to believe that Ashura waits for Indra to reincarnate so that he can follow his brother and live along side him again.

So just some insight into what Sasuke was really trying to achieve because I think you guys slightly misinterpreted his intentions. So he wasn't attempting to become another Madara as he never had any plans of forcing people into a genjutsu world or murdering innocent people to achieve his goals. He wanted to basically force the entire world into peace via fear of himself and his own power. So basically, he would be soooo powerful and sooo "threatening" (although he never intended to murder anybody other than the Kage) that the other villages would be forced into peace out of fear of his retaliation. So in his eyes, the world would be a peaveful place as fighting amongst villages wouldn't be actively happening because if it did, he would've stepped in and obliterated the people who caused the disturbance in the peace. He was inspired by Itachi's life as a "rogue shinobi" and wanted to use a similar method of existing in the shadows as a mysterious overwelmingly powerful force who threatens to destroy anybody and anything that gets in the way of world peace. So just to clarify, Sasuke wasn't evil. He truly thought his way was the only way to ensure that the wars and fighting would end. He was willing to sacrifice his happiness and basically his life in order to oversee a peaceful world by using force and submitting into peace out of fear of his power.

I like how this is literally theire characters down to the T...like Madara and Hashi they both want the same thing just differ on how to go about it. Sauske's thinking is far more forward, practical and pessimisticly extreme than Naruto's because that's his character. He understands that while it might be peaceful because he and Naruto live and could rekt any village what happens after they are gone? Realisticly, and historically they will go back to fighting. So he takes a stupidly extreme measure. Naruto is a now thinker, a super optimistic and extremely idealistic like he's always been. He believes that the world has seen the error of its ways and that they will now come together. While Sauske's belief is more realistic his actions to prevent it is far too extreme while Naruto's is far to carefree. Ppl shit on Sauske but once you sit back and understand that Indra's reincarnations think like this it and it's not nesssecarily his fault it won't bother you so much, and considering that Ashra's way hasn't ever actually been able to maintain peace then maybe there is some validity to Indra's and Sasuke's points.

It's one ( if not the ) most anticipated fight in a anime/ manga for the viewers and it's amazing and extremely difficult to satisfy and even surpass this anticipation. In addition they already have a legendary fight in the first part, to create parrallels to the first one and at the same time encompass their relationship with this final fight (and the next episode ) it's a stunning performance. The anime ( and even the story itself )has some problems that pretty much everyone knows but when it's really important the staff put all their souls and we feel it. To be honest, Naruto's (the show) entire future wouldn't have been peace if it wasn't for the Akatsuki. The 5 villages would have never united and the 4th Great Ninja War will come eventually but among the 5 villages instead. It's not ideal but nothing bonds people more than a common enemy.

So about Indra Vs Ashura thing. It's taken from Hinduism, Indra is the God of Lighting in Hinduism. Who usually carry his Bow and lighting arrows. he's leader of Gods faction during war. Ashura is faction of demons or Demigods or different faction of gods (depends on what are your sources, Hinduism is huge religion). But asthetic of Naruto here is definitely taken from Brahma, Hindu god of Creation. With 3 arms and 3 faces. In Hinduism, there is war between gods and ashuras. And Oftenly Indra lead them against Ashuras.

if you have paid attention, six tailed naruto was able to withstand shinra tensei from pain due to raw power and foothold, here naruto was pulled by sasuke because he was in base, once he entered six paths +kcm state, sasuke doesnt even attempts any of the push pull or gravity also its a crazy detail but please remember that using too much of the rinnegan also overloads it, 28:24 it has also happened before when pain used shinra tensei and his rinnegan temporarily disables due to overuse 9:32 its been years but its crazy how teen naruto is unable to stop a fireball and gets slapped away by a chidori when naruto grows up to adult he is able to withstand attacks much stronger than this chidori or fireball, truly a testament of his actual prime

I find it super ironical, that Naruto's way of ending the cycle ended up as literally doing the "Pain" plan. Nagato wanted to create at least temporary peace via causing great pain through death and destruction caused by tail beast nuke which will make survivors not want to have another fight... And in the end we get told, that Naruto broke cycle of hatred by going through great pain brought by death and destruction caused by Madara/Great War which made survivors not want to have another fight... Naruto didn't solve anything... yes as long as the people who'll remember the pain of great ninja war live, they won't fight each other... But new generations? People/shinobi which were not part of the battlefield? For them nothing happened, just normal night => light => great dream => wake up... This makes Naruto's way basically the worse version of Pain's way, because if the immediate solution is the same, then he just removed the means to recreate the 'temporary' peace via the nuke in the future (if it does become needed)

最初BGM無しでの戦闘にしたのもまじでナイスな選択やと思う。あそこは技等のSEと声だけだからこそ逆に熱い。 クラマモードとスサノオが拳合わせた時に互いの胸の内が分かる回想シーンめっちゃ好き。 （拳と拳を合わせることで相手の胸の内が分かるビーやイルカや雷影等々の布石） BGMも相まってエモーショナルな演出やわ スサノオ豪火球をうって麒麟の布石にしてるとことかもアニメオリジナルやけど最高。 自然エネルギー還元した時に三面六腕になったのも、リアル世界の神話のアシュラ像モデルをモチーフにしてて良い感じ。 インドラも実際雷を扱っていたと言われていたことをモチーフにしてしてるから本当にモデル元へのリスペクトを感じる。 うずまきナルト連弾とか初期技出てくるのも好き。最後の螺旋丸の演出も良いし、千鳥もイタチの手が添えてあって（どんなになろうと俺はお前の味方だというセリフ）泣ける。 柱間とマダラ像が崩れた時に指が重なり合って和解の印になっていたりほんま細かいところまで素晴らしい描写だと思う。 まさにNARUTOという作品のラストバトルにふさわしい戦いだった。

The name of the modes Naruto and Sasuke used are Indra Susano'o and Ashura Mode Kurama. Also when we saw Ashura using "Kurama" that was actually a mode Ashura created called Kunitsukami. Ashura never met a tailed beast and was never a jinchuriki
