Despite all these incidents, how would you rate SATA Azores? Or have you even tried them before?

It's worth mentioning that SATA operates within the Azores and that Azores Airlines operates outside of the Azores. It's basically the same company of course but the fleets and amenities are totally different.

SATA is not a bad company, it is actually quite good compared to many European companies, delays often have to do with the weather in the Açoes region and planes are delayed. When you buy a trip in Business, they always inform you that the figure presented may not correspond to the truth! All you need to do is change equipment from A321 to A320 so that the busesiness class chairs no longer exist. But if you travel in Europe, on TAP, IBERIA, AIR FRANCE, LUFTHANSA, BRITHIS AIRWAYS or other companies, they do not have executive chairs, just normal chairs, leaving you a vacant seat in the middle between chairs.

Absolutely, I find SATA a pretty good and interesting airline from an economic perspective. In addition, crew and product seem to be pretty good too. But the lack of information was just bad and a thing which occurred throughout the whole experience.

Well, as I said in the video: delay (+ no communication) and aircraft change (with no business class)

Diese probleme die du ansprichst gibt es bei innerdeutschen flügen leider oft was verspätung oder fehlende kommunikation angeht Hoffe du hast viel spaß auf den Azoren gehabt :)

My experience with SATA it was not very good at all. On the arrival flight to PDL, we left OPO almost three hours late. On the flight back to OPO from PDL we left with two hours and twenty minutes. In my opinion SATA schedules the flights wrongly. On the other hand there were other delays with SATA flights to other destinations and the terminal at PDL was overcrowded and without air conditioning. It was very uncomfortable

Sad to hear about your experience. Really sounds like they have trouble scheduling the correct aircraft on the corresponding flights. But that’s the downside of a small remote airline.
