SATA JET NR95 - GOING BACK IN TIME

Lucky me. My next-door neighbor is moving and had a garage sale. He gave me a spray gun. It turns out it is a NR95! Now I'm off to check it out, hope it's in great shape.

Nothing gets old schooler than the Nr95, nr92, and the mc b primer gun from Sata. My pops still got em I fought the nr92 and mc b in the garage awhile ago, start using the mc b for primer and boy is it a HOSER

Good stuff! That's the same gun I used as well. And the Iwata LPH 400 for the clear. We used DuPont back in the day (now Axalta.) Still have both guns. Will never get rid of them even though I don't paint anymore! 😆

Classic gun, nice video. Only other video I seen similar to this is on The Triggerman channel with the Sata Jet 90 you two are the only ones on KZbin bringing back that old school feel. I'm from that era so it's refreshing. Thank you KM 👍

It's the only gun I use as a parttime painter. Has a 1.3 tip and works awesome!

I'm going to say today's bc is laying down way different than it did for me back in 95 . I was spraying Diamont solvent at a New Land Rover dealership Altamont Springs FL . 🌞❤️💯 Good times back then,! Thanks bro 💪

I used to love the nr 95, I had a few. I hated them at first because I was die hard with the Jet 90 ( which I also still have and love ) I’ve still got a brand new nr 95 I stashed forever ago with a 1.5 and new 1.3 set in the box. They were killer with anything you wanted to spray with them. Tricky metallics were no problem with that gun and single stage metallic Imron never looked so good! A little bulky and heavy by today’s standards but much better made than a lot of the newer Sata’s. Sling some clear with that bad boy! Much quicker than any of the later hvlp’s and slick

Ive still got a NR95 with a 1.5 i used it to bang IcI water on it use to smash it on i loved it , im going to get it out and renew it, very heavy on air consumption. Great video really brought back some memory's, i was on bonus at the time and was painting 3-5 jobs a day and my NR95 was brilliant

Only drawback to the 95 is the non-stainless passages making it susceptible to rust. Wow, that low PSI, I used 40 back in the bay. Awesome work kandyman!

Interesting video Kandy Man, I've not been in the game for that long so the oldest gun I have (design wise) is my GTI Pro and ProLite which are a 15 year old design but the Sata NR95 did a great job on these modern paints👌👍John UK

Paint guns are like golf clubs, the gun makers tell you everything good that a new gun can do but it's basically the same. Tiger Woods could play with 1970 clubs and still shoot the same score. I watch a few painters that do unbelievable work, one uses a binks 7 siphon gun and the other bought mass quantities of a harbor freight guns on sale for 19.99. He has enough to last a lifetime.

The nr 95 is responsible for half the Chinese guns still sold out there! Lol Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, they’re all loaded with nr 95 copies in all different colors

i have the same sg92 gun but the the resavoir tank is cracked in the neck where it screws into the gun. are replacment parts still avaiable. good video. i have one last project to finish up and then i'm goint to sell my nr 992, and my mr 90. what would be a good asking price? thanks for the info.
