Satan Is Finally Revealed?! - Helluva Boss Season 2 Episode 8
Vivienne Medrano made a hit when she created Helluva Boss. The wildly popular KZbin series follows an Imp named Blitz and his associates as they take contracts to assassinate humans on Earth. They maintain their personal lives in Hell when they're not fulfilling contracts. The underworld is a difficult place to live, with intense violence and an unshakable hierarchy that causes competition between demonkind. The series introduces numerous members of the Seven Deadly Sins during the first two seasons. These seven demons are some of the most powerful of Hell, including Lucifer, as the others work under him to help run the Seven Rings of Hell. It seems reasonable that all Seven Deadly Sins will appear as the series continues, leading to a new character introduced in the recent season two trailer. In today’s video, we’ll discuss Satan’s role in the latter half of the second season.

In theory Lucifer could beat every one of the sins. Despite being the king if hell, he still is a seraphim and can only be smited by an angel of higher rank. So I guess Satan tries to use force, strength and even war to remain a powerful figure among the sins.

If Satan doesn't get along with his fellow Archdemons, then he doesn't get along with his Fallen Archangel counterpart Lucifer. And yes I said "Archdemons" because that's exactly what Satan, Beelzebub, Mammon, Asmodeus, Leviathan, and Belphegor are refer to as, and I said, "Archangel" because that's exactly what Lucifer is, I mean how else would he rule over all of Hell as its King?

Bingo. 'The Sins' are, or may be, Arch-Demonss, according to what seem to be the source references of the series, The Lesser Key of Solomon and Binsfield's Classification. There is also some possible references to some being fallen Angels of lesser rank than Lucifer. Bee (Baal) lzebub may be the highest ranking member of the Ars Goetia, or a Fallen Angel of lesser rank than Luci. I'm going to guess, Satan, Mammon, Ozzy, Levianthan, and Belphegor are more than likely 'Hellborn', native Arch-Demons. Luci is know to be a fallen Arch-Angel, and it may be that Bee is as well. Of course if she's actually Baal of the Lesser Key, she's the overall ruler of the Ars Goetia and Hellborn by consequence. Alternately Bee and Leviathan are fallen Princes of the Cherubim, and Ozzy is a Ophanim Prince that followed Lucifer in rebellion. That would make these three, as well as Luci, Fallen Angels, and not Hellborn. But we'll see where the writing takes us in the series I guess.

Since the Pride Ring is the top of Hell and the Wrath Ring is just underneath it, I’d like to say that Satan is possibly Lucifer’s right hand of the Seven Sins. It all adds up because the Wrath Ring is above the rest of the Rings of Hell. Making it above ranks of the other five sins.

I have a theory that Satan is actually attacking fizz or oz instead of blitz and stolas, only because the scene in the last episode released showed mammon saying “you are gonna regret revealing that” (not sure if that’s how he really says it you get the point) and then in the season 2 trailer Stella’s brother ends up getting angry and the shadow more resembles his to me as well.

I don't think that's Satan attacking Stolas and Blitzo. I think it's just a scene shift from Satan to a scene of Andrealphus considering the different color in both scenes. Satan is in an orangs and back setting while Blitzo and Stolas are in a white and blue icy environment which matches Andrealphus's home. In another scene, we see Andrealphus using his magic so I think it's actually connected to that scene

SHORT IDEA: I don't think Satan is going to have a classist attitude towards Imps as you imply, by default just because he significantly outranks them. LONG EXPLANATION FOR MY IDEA: I mean, the hierarchy so far seems to be a legal thing. But socially, it seems mixed in execution: - the ars goetia have displayed elitism. Which makes sense since they're royalty, but still beneath the Sins. I speculate the Sins are what causes the Goetia Family to be classist to hide their insecurity. - Verosika uses Imp as a pejorative, but towards Blitz who she hates and once dated. It could just be her trying to hurt him and not actual classism. - In Wrath we see a male succubi(are they called inccub in this universe?) Leading a bike gang of imps. This 'could' be him using his higher tier as a succubi, but I think his strength and intimidation is what made him their leader. Wrath values strength and shames anything else, so I don't think pulling rank is gonna get you far as a gang leader. - Then there's that Karen from Envy Blitz met at the hospital. I believe hellborn like her(that aren't succubi, imps, hellhounds) are a higher tier. SO that makes 4(imo 2) examples of classism in this interesting hierarchy. But we also see: - Imps and succubi dating in Lust. Which is proven by Imps there having succubi wings. - Mammon's various concerts consisting of meltingpots of all demonkind(minus sinners) - Asmodeus being friendly with his succubi workers at his lust factory. - Octavia not being classist towards Loona. - Beelzebub being nice to her underlings. She gets angry at Loona, but doest "pull rank" Like I said, its a mixed bag of social behavior. From what we've seen, it seems the Leviathan's Ring of Envy demons are exclusive. We only see the Karen, and the others seacrearyres at the fancy Ozzie's nightclub. This is speculation of course, but I think this is the case for both Satan and Leviathan's Rings and citizens. Satan has defined himself with the imps, the lowest class, yes, BUT je gave them a culture of war that values strength above all else. Such cultures are usually frowned upon by the upper classes who value intellect(in a conformist sense) and cunning. So it makes sense to me. The idea of Envy demons hating all imps as "Wrathians" as the Karen called Blitz. I speculate, that this goes a the way up to Satan and Leviathan having some kind of rivalry. VivziePop has stated these two will be more "traditional" as far as demon design goes. So how does all this fit with my belief that Satan doesn't have a classist attitude? Well I think what Satan has done, is secretly invaded ALL the Rings of Hell, with a species that values aggression and is on the lowest tier of society. Im not saying he can "take over Hell and dethrone Lucifer" absolutely not. We don't know what armies or "legions" as Paimon says, are held in Hell's reserve. And Lucifer is canonically the most powerful being in Hell. And at the same time, with the snap of his fingers, Satan can have ALL(maybe not Envy) of Hell invaded by a significantly large demographic within its population. A demographic that has been oppressed, seen as the lowest, values aggression, and seems to diefy Satan over Lucifer as their father god. I could be TOTALLY WRONG, but thats my speculation.
