Pricy though, apart from the satay, which was decently priced. To be expected I suppose - it’s the Bay. Even the vending machine orange juice is pricier there. 😂

Yes, as you are saying, it is expected the price will be higher, since this is the prime tourist spot, but still, the outdoor seating is very nice, the place has very chilled vibes and does not feel like a tourist trap. For sure we will be back! :)

If there is pork satay it would be sold by Chinese vendors only which are different from Muslim satay at Lau Pa Sat where you can get mutton, chicken, beef. Chinese satay sellers sells only chicken and pork, also sell BBQ chicken wings or sometimes with rojak. EDIT Please DO NOT ask for pork satay if you you see a Malay man selling satay.

It is overly pricey at this location. I tried the food there and it was decent, however the satay is just okay, not the best for the price asked for. This location is a tourist grab area. You can get the same food , much tastier and less costly in hawker centres outside of this tourist area, e.g. Geylang Serai .

@@LivingInLionCity I do get it. I'm ex-singaporean, hence totally understand price is affected by location. It's the same if you go eat at Newton Circus hawker centre, tourist grab areas. At least in Newton circus, food like satay is still pretty good. But at this Garden by the bay hawker centre, it is ridiculously expensive for hawker food that is also not the best you can actually get.

For merely $35, i can eat and drink (both unlimited) anything (Western, Asian + Seafoods.....) i want in Singapore at a single location (Hotel), with aircon and services. Why bother with this set C (20 Satay, 6 Prawns, 1 BBQ Squid and 1 Ketupat) ??? Pls don't make me cry, how pathetic they are offering to the innocents.
