Is the Shrimp Paste (马拉盞 /虾酱) toasted first? In my country, we have Meat Curry Powder (Beef, Mutton and Poultry) and Seafood Curry Powder (Crab, Prawn and Fish). May I know which Curry Powder used in the recipe 😊 Thank you for sharing the info about Sa Cha sauce 👍🏻

Sure, we can get better flavor from Toasted or Stir-Fried Shrimps Paste. As I know, Curry is the combination of different spices. Do you know what is the difference of combination between Meat & Seafood Curry Powder. 🤔I guess both is okay. You may try which get the better result. I always try different types of curry to get my favourite taste. 😊My recipe is just using the most simple and basic curry.

@@kckitchenchi For meat… extra spices are cardamoms (Green or Black Cardamom 草果), Star Anise, Cinnamon and Cloves. For seafood , Fenugreek and White and Black peppercorns
