Yeah machan, there are not many guitarists in Srilanka who could play lke that.. imagine watching him playing live. I was just a spectator eventhough I had the guitar in my hands..

Being an amateur guitarist myself, this all too magic for me...athula's hand and fingers worth millions and must be insured! touch wood!! and she is gifted with the best voice !! I rated this song as the best out of the collection.

@Channa Aththalage, you play the guitar very nicely. i don't really mind the audio quality on these recordings and as a budding guitar player, I really learn a lot from your playing. The harmonies in interludes you play are so unique, and musically very enjoyable. Since very recent times, I believed that what really matters in enjoyment of music is the audio quality, but this original song and this cover proves to me , that even heard from a distance, this takes you to that sublime enjoyment of real music and harmonies! Lovely work of art and lovely ensemble. @Malathi, you have a most lovable voice. Hope you all become stars soon.

HI Chris, I live in Australia and had a chance to catchup with Channa & Malathi once I visited SL. Seems like you are fascinated by Malathi's voice & Channa's magic fingers. Channa is the lead guitarist of Annesley Malawana's band, and Malathi performs with them on and off. And I dont know if they perform this type of music in the band but u can still request.
