Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve | Forest Stay

In this vlog we drove to sathyamangalam, mavallam area and stayed in a resort and also explored places nearby. We got to see some epic sceneries all around. Hope you like the vlog.

I think no vlogger told about jodigere, honnametti...it tells how much is ua knowledge about forest....actualy place where u stopped to explain electric wire is place name ardhanaripura....indian eastern ghat joins to western ghat....

Thanks, and good to know about that village name. Btw, earlier forest department in 2007 used to conduct treks to jodigere from bedaguli and then towards bylore. So i have done that trek and stayed in jodigere APC. Unfortunately i couldn't visit honnametti back then and now it's not allowed or needs some influence.

Dont waste money and time in sathyamangalam safari, I have explored almost 4 safari routes and was quite disappointed. The landscapes, wildlifea are amazing i love it,but the way safari is charged and conducted is disappointing. The safari tracks are all old abandoned roads between hamlets and villages, they never cover the waterholes, wont allow you to take photos of remains of kill or park for better photos or track the wildlife movements just ply on the road. I believe currentlythey completly closed down on safari expect for couple of routes. Stay in Jeerahalli guest house was memorable, amazing tiger terrain. Completely wild and closer to Bandipur forest range.

Yes, also looks like there weren't many people coming for safaris. So, in addition to less sightings and less people they stopped all safaris i guess. Once I was the only one at the germalam safari, so didn't take it. But yes, i want to do the safari to see the landscapes someday. And good to know about jeerahalli guest house, I also wanted to visit thalamalai guest house.

I stayed in a small resort in 2019 on the begining of Dhimbam ghat and the resort owner took me to an unforgettable mid night drive deep into the forest.. Sadly when i went again in 2023, i found they closed the resort.

Thanks 🙂 Yes, this area has very minimal light pollution and is good for viewing the sky.... another place I have heard is shettihalli church....
