What a lovely simple tutorial! I'd been wondering how to get the best placement for the features on softies! Lovely clear video and cute music too :)

Thanks for the video. One question, this embroidery thread looks a thicker than what I am used to seeing. The strands also look like they cannot be seperated. Can you tell me more about the thread.

Great video! What is a frixion pen? I googled this magical item and it appears to be an erasable in k pen from Pilot, is that correct? Thanks in advance!!

+Cassidy Gates Yes, it's an erasable ink pen from Pilot. I get them at Staples. The ink disappears with heat!

I had been wondering what type of thread you were using as it didn't look like embroidery floss. But no need to ask because then you showed what sort it was just before you started the nose. Would I be correct in saying it was crochet cotton? BTW I do like the music it is lighthearted and joyful. Congratulations on your first Video tutorial I enjoyed watching such neat hand sewing! :)

Hi Janette - The thread is actually size 8 Perle cotton. Thanks so much!

When you inserted the thread into the head to start the eye, did you knot the thread? I couldn’t tell
