The poignant thing about this song in the play is that after the rewind, we're seeing Angelica's true feelings in those moments she's recounting; most of the actresses playing generally keep the sad expression throughout the final verse to hit home she's wishing them luck, but she's really torn up about it. At first I didn't know how I felt about you keeping up the facade during the "To the groom, to the bride" part...but then when you hit the "And I know...", you came back at the end and ripped my heart out with the sadness in your eyes.
