How are the buttons and shower pressure holding up after a year? Do the buttons get stuck at all?
@TheJ0n282 жыл бұрын
I just installed one of these. My contractor and I were a little confused about operation on this, but it seems to align with your video. The buttons are used to turn on and off the water, rather than the lever as with most shower valves. What's the function of the "pitch axis" of the lever? Does this change the water pressure at all? Obviously the rotation axis changes temperature.

Thanks for your video,,, the best I can see on KZbin. I purchased a Lordear rainshower just like your brand, Bostingner. I am not a plumber; just a beginner DIY. So if you don't mind, can you please give me a list of all the extra Sharkbite, etc connections I need. We just got started redoing our shower and will be installing our rainshower system next week. Thanks again!

Yes. but I had to take quick photos shots from my IPhone.... I also just purchased all my connectors yesterday at Lowes. I did stop by Harbour Freight in Cheyenne to look for the Allen Wrench kit..... they didn't have it... so I will order it online. THANKS AGAIN! I will be installing our shower kit this weekend.@@SatisfyDIY

technical question: isn't that rain faucet head too heavy to only hold itself on that 1/2 inch thread? I'm about to install mine but it feels too heavy... maybe there's a way to support it better or I'm just overthinking it?

I haven’t had any issues if that helps.

My shower doesn’t have a wall access in back. I can install the hand held shower piping without access in back right?

Are they a way to adjust water pressure? We are getting really nothing and water pressure is good everywhere in the house.
@michaellassic62743 ай бұрын
you may need to change water line to apex

I would check it without the heads. Just the hose/arm. That will narrow it down from the valve. Or the strainers on the head/wand.

Learning but why use crimp rings and connectors instead of shark bite elbows . Just comparison to other methods. I have yet to attempt to install...ty

There’s a million ways to do any job. If it works, it works. I’m no professional.

i would steer clear of shark bite if the fitting is going to be behind walls/tile for a shower as non professionals have a high likelihood of it leaking compared to crimp rings, if you can easily get to the fitting then sure go for it and use shark bite as they're fast as I've only use it once to cap off a 1/2" copper pipe that very easily accessible, its been over half a year now and has not leaked, knock on wood, for me personally I prefer pex A but I'm poor so I use pex B and crimp rings heh

Do you have the video on putting that shower in I got one that's almost like it?
@SatisfyDIY Жыл бұрын
No unfortunately I blew it recording that step. Essentially making sure it’s level and securing the flange to studs. Silicone the top to the bottom. Then hang the drywall up to the flange and mud the gap. Finishing with caulk for a clean finish.

Hey so I got the same system on Amazon for a brand new full shower replacement but am concerned with the weight of the rain shower arm and head. I have 1/2 CPVC for plumbing. How do I support the weight?
@SatisfyDIY Жыл бұрын
To connect my shower arm I used a drop ear elbow that ties into my pex. The elbow is fastened to backing. Holds the weight of the shower arm pretty well.
