I am 60 and still struggle a bit with cleaning the bathroom and keeping flat surfaces clear, I usually can do this, but life happens and we get busy or sick or in your case nurturing four precious souls and your marriage (we are very empty nesters and our children have their own homes and young families). Wet It & Forget it!!! Got it at Home Depot. I decant into a smaller spray bottle, one of those continuous spray ones. Keep it in the shower and spray tile down after each shower. Life changing!!

I use dawn power wash and clorox cleanup in my shower! They are a power combo! I have really hard water that leaves pink stains and it cleans it right up!

Try leaving the vent on in the bathroom for 20 minutes AFTER you finish with the shower to clear out the steam. This suggestion was given to me by a plumber. We put timers on our bathroom vents so we don’t have to remember to turn them off. We just turn the timer on as we leave the bathroom. You probably would need to leave your shower door open since it is a steam shower.

To be honest thick bleach works great on mildew, on the tough stains, I will dampen kitchen towel and place it on the areas that have mildew and cover with the bleach, the towel stops it from running off and going to waste. That's only the really tough mildew.

The most effective mold and mildew spray I have found is Tilex mold and mildew. You spray....turn your vent van on or open a window ...then come back in fifteen minutes. It's usually gone. Then I use soft scrub on my shower as a whole. Soft scrub works for mold and mildew as well but for when it's been built up for awhile I use the mold and mildew spray. Works like a charm.

Thanks so much for your honesty and candor…your children will never remember how clean their house was but they will remember the time spent with you. I have found that cleaning vinegar works well along with a small hand held steamer for hard to clean areas.

Good morning Denise, I use Spray Way all purpose spray cleaner, Krud Kutter, The Pink Stuff paste, Lime Away, Bar keeper friend,Tide powder & good old school Bleach. These are all the things in my cleaning cabinet. The bathrooms look beautiful.

That toilet, with the flat sides and easy removable seat, would be LIFE CHANGING for my bathroom cleaning routine! I would also LOVE wall mounted faucets, then you can just clean the dang counter! And push drains for the bathtub and edge drain for the shower! And Floating Vanity! Think about how easy it'll be to clean when making design choices, because these will be features I implement when we redo our bathrooms!

Amazing cleaning!!! I love shower deep cleaning! Watching it, that is 😅 In a previous video you said that the showerdoor has to be open to prevent mold, but that it was pretty unconvienient. A tip is to take a piece of a pool noodle, cut through one side of it and slide it on the glass door, making it stay just a bit open without being in the way.

Clorox plus tilex mold amd mildew is the best. It has a pretty strong smell so you will want the windows open but it gets up of the tough spots.

You worked very hard. I’m exhausted just watching. 😅 I have used Ajax with oxygenated bleach, baking soda and vinegar paste, and if that doesn’t cut through the grime I used the Ajax with bleach and liquid bleach. 😂 I try the less smelly stuff first. I love CLR for really bad hard water, rust, lime and calcium or soap build up too. I think most grout and natural stone needs to be sealed at least once a year if I’m not mistaken. After your next clean just reseal and it should help keep your grout more stain resistant.

Hi Denise great to see you post today, the bathroom is the one room that I’m not a fan of. I use Clorox mold and mildew cleaner and it works for me, but hard to find lately I spray it and leave it sit before I scrub. The soap scum by Clorox is also good.

Tilex for mildew. Very good! Smell strong, I use a mask, but an hour or two later, without no elbow power, nothing is left. I just rince a lot and then, it is like the grout is new. I’ve been using it for the last 15 year and my bathroom look clean and new still.

A hand held steam cleaner would really help you in the shower. It disinfects and gets in groat lines and that type of shower drain.

Maybe you could put a shower curtain liner across the shower wall by the tub and glass door. There wouldn't be so many crevices to clean and you could toss it in the washing machine with a towel to keep it clean.

Great job! For your kids bathrooms, show them how to keep it light tidy and/or let them help you clean. This way they will know how hard you work. For the shower, get the Soft Scrub product from Walmart. The one with lemon flavor🍋 add bleach and let them sit for about 10-15. Then use the electric shower brush from Amazon. It has many heads and a long handle to take care of all the small areas of your shower. It will cut both time and energy in half to clean your entire bathroom. For your products, just try putting things into the drawers right after you finish using them. 🌟🌸

Clorox Spray works best, spray it on walk away come back it eats the mold! I also use it on the inside of the clear shower curtain in the hall bath. I only do this maybe once a month since there is bleach and chemicals in it but CLR did nothing for me and the grout! I tried Zep as well and nothing worked like Clorox spay cleaner in the green bottle! I even us it on my tile floor which is white and gets dirty, once clean then I seal it! Great Video!

Clorox works good for my shower and hard water. I also have to use Iron Out for hard water stains. Nothing else seems to work. We also have a water system. Our area has extremely hard water. Great motivating video. Where have your baby boys gone 😢 ? They are getting away too big too fast.

For really bad mold or mildew I like the bleach pen gel. Let it sit and it whitens thing back up. But it is hard on the silicon, so I don't use it if I can avoid it.
