Here in the states our liquid laundry detergent is concentrated so most people are using way too much for their washing machines. I use I tide cup full and pour it into an old tide jug and the fill with water and mix it. That one alone will last me a couple of months. I only use straight tide for a stain pre treatment before I was depending on the stain. I use a white vinegar and water mixture for my fabric softer and add this into the softer section of the washing machine if it has this if not I put it in the rinse cycle. I'm allergic to a lot of fabric softeners and detergent that's why I do it this way.

@@RichardSalesOfficial doing laundry this way saves me so much $$$ I think it averages out to around 1$ a month for detergent and vinegar when I do it this way. For a regular sized jug of tide is around 12$ that usually lasts me 6 months to a year depending on how many loads of laundry I have to do lol

So not only do I have the same reactions to people not completely filling up the containers all the way but I absolutely lose my mind when they have a container that isn't big enough too. Like they went to Costco for the product but got a jar from Walmart so the quantity/volume are not equal. So now these people have a semi-filled glass container BUT ALSO have the original box or bag the item came in. Like c'mon! Drives me absolutely bonkers.

Disabled dame, here. Some of us with dexterity issues and/or nerve damage need that extra room inside the containers of dry goods so that we can actually get a firm grip on items or scoops, and not make a huge mess in the process. (Or worse, either get the container stuck on our hands, and/or knock the whole thing off the counter and break it into a gazillion pieces.)
