It's easy to say "Don't fill the pool in" and I always wanted a pool until I saw the effort that goes into maintaining them. Especially in England with our conditions. I no longer want one of my own but I am happy to watch them get cleaned on this channel.

Not all pools are that bad when uncovering if it is prepped correctly for the winter where you are. 👍
@MrPuddinJones10 ай бұрын
proper maintenance and your pool wont go nasty. 5-10 minutes a day to clear skimmers during swim season and check chemical balance. about 30 minutes once a week to shock and brush. once a month clean filters. in the off season, i keep my pool open all year and i dial back my maintenance because its colder and algae doesnt grow as much when its cold. can dial the shock and brush back to once every 2 weeks, and filter clean every other month. ive never had a pool go nasty. ive fought a couple algae blooms, but it only every took me an hour for 2-3 days to clear it up.

I'm feeling very similar to these owners when it comes to my pool minus the green slimy water. Folks don't realize how expensive it is to maintain a pool. It's literally a money pit. To top things off, having a pool gets VERY old and it ends up where only visitors want to swim, making it where my house is the default location of any family get-togethers in summer.

@sierrablair779 ай бұрын
Yes depends on the pool tho or maybe owners request. But it's better to just do it the way he's doing it. Bc transporting all the water and such is very expensive. As to just loading up chemicals to point into a vehicle and go to the pool site/ house

Noo, the complete opposite tbh.
@sierrablair779 ай бұрын
And it depends on how bad the pool is and such that all those chemicals are very necessary and need added
@coelho4ever9 ай бұрын
@@sierrablair77 I'm guessing that the pool in this video is approximately 60 m3 / 16k gallons, that'll cost me approximately €75/$80 for a complete refill with tap water. I understand that a pool needs chemicals to keep the water quality, but I don't think that the chemicals used to get rid of the algae in this pool are cheaper than that. :)

Absolutely not that's very unsafe and that's why the call them bc they know what there doing 😑 and it's very hard to maintain a pool 24/7, and ppl do have full time jobs that get in the way as well, so always why they call someone to help.
