I'm a new viewer...and I've been dipping into your content on and off for a while...but the more I watch ... the more I realize you value just about everything that I value in music. You want GREAT musicians...playing GREAT music...with GREAT production. I am a BIG fan of rock and metal...but fusion and jazz (and funk...and motown) are also my thing (and just about everything else ... as long as it's just plain GOOD!). Subscribed!

Satoshi Bandoh is amazing! love his work with T-Square, a worthy replacement for Hiroyuki Noritake. While you are still on Japanese drummers, also check Noriaki Kumagai, he was in Casiopea for a number of years, replacing Akira Jimbo in the 90s. great drummer

One thing that you DON'T see in these productions...is the engineer who is responsbile for the recording. This video would be worth nothing if that dude did not know how to do his job. It's because of him that I can appreciate how awesome the bass playing is...and the drumming...and everything else. Speaking of the drumming (which IS awesome BTW)...that groove reminded me of another drummer I saw doing a Sabian playthrough. Patrick Metzger. Check him out here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpCckKGFf56GnNk

If you watched the video of the link I sent you for the drum trio with Senri , Bandoh, and Imai, you can see that he also has a great sense of humor. I believe that both he and Senri were proteges of the late legendary drummer and teacher Kozo Suganuma. You can see them both in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKCpmpWejNx2o8k
