There are many works on positions of each section, but anything pre pangea is very difficult to estimate and the details are widely contested. No one single reliable estimates are available or time before pangea hence it would not we right for me to give a definitive statement

Is it that Satpura range was first a folded mountain, gradually it was eroded and then the faulting occured which made this a block mountain?

in very simple terms yes it is true, but for exams consider it as block mountain and do not ever write it as fold mountain. The process of formation of satpura is spread over 2 billion years with multiple orogeny events.

That would be really great, but which city do you think should be capital. And remember the city you choose as capital will have to be taken out of that state because a federal seat cannot be under state. So for example bhopal is selected as indian capital then Bhopal will no longer be part of MP and all powers of land police and public order in bhopal district will go to center. Just like washington DC (District of california), or delhi.
