Cheers Adrian, I know some people are a bit land locked and don't get the chance to see the beaches so I try and give a honest report. Hope my next trip will be a bit more exciting 😂

You should try the pier Luke . Bit easier to deal with the weed as you fish past the worst of it . I had a 3lb 4oz bass last Saturday and on Thursday eve I saw 2 codling caught. That was all by the arcade and on the jetty at the end 3 large rays came up 🙂

Well done on the bass 🔥I used to really enjoy fishing the pier but not so much any more as I don't really enjoy the company it brings. Shame really because it's a good little venue and I would very rarely blank off there but you never know I might give it another visit soon. 👍

Was out last night that way as well had a smooth hound 2 smallish eels and a conger couldn't weigh it but it was just over 4 foot long

Awesome stuff glad you managed to find a few. Never had a decent conger, hopefully I will get one soon. I noticed there was nets out where I was fishing to 😢

@@Fishingbug me either til yesterday I thought they would fight harder than it did tbh and I did hear they were out netting. The bloke next to me he didn't have nowt or his mate. Makes a change as I've had a bad run of blanks lately lol
