Thanks a million for the reflection. My takeaway for today- We need to pray when we are happy or when we are in trouble. The Sacrament of Holy Anointing is a great help for those who are critically ill or before going through a Surgery.Anointing by the Oil meant to be used for Praying over the Sick. It is only Jesus Christ who has the power to heal.Our lives are in the hands of God. Confession and Holy Anointing are important for healing May the Holy Spirit continue to inspire and guide you Fr.Warner God bless you and protect you always I missed your reflection yesterday and prayed that the tests will be in your favour. May the Precious Blood flowing from the Sacred Wounds of Jesus cover you and protect you always

Dear fr. Warner, I am a pallottine priest focusing on the role of the laity. I working in a rehab in jharkhand in the holy Cross hospital. Over the years I have realized that rhab is not the best solution but care and concern shown by the elders of the village, or parish Council Or mahila sangh makes an addicted person want to be from addiction (disease). I have finally realized that this text says it all. So in all my awareness programs I am going to use this text. Thanks for the inspiration.

Dear Fr Warner. Praise & thank God for your clear MRI report. The key point in James' text is that we need to pray to God in all circumstances - in times of suffering, happiness, sickness, when we have sinned - He is central to our life. Even when we pray with friends, Jesus is with us. Being anointed by a priest prior to hospitalization or surgery is good for healing. Thank you Fr for your lovely reflection.
