Saturday April 13, 2024 Packwood Lake hike

A 9 mile R/T hike to the stunning Packwood Lake! I didn’t get started until 12:30pm, so I only stayed long enough to have lunch and take in the beautiful sights of this awesome location! The first time I ever backpacked there was June 2010! It was awesome! Since then, we have day hiked and rode our bikes there on a handful of occasions. It truly is one of my favorite places and I will definitely be doing some overnighters there this year!
After my first video, when I was making my lunch and the sound was quiet because my phone was set up a little ways from me, I decided to get a cheap microphone so my voice would pick up. Everything was going fine with the microphone, but eventually it did shut down without me knowing. So I decided I better just use it when the phone is set up a distance away from me.
Vlogging is definitely a learning curve! Any tips/tricks are greatly appreciated! Already received tips from my oldest daughter, Ashley, and her hubby Jesse! Thanks guys!
