What people seem to forget is that the Pharisee used to complain to Yahusha in regards to him doing work on the Sabbath; healing etc...so...one must come to the conclusion that Yahusha did not see the Sabbath as the Pharisee did(who were following Saturday as this video explains not because it was the day but because of the Romans and the calendars) so we know that Yahusha would know which day to keep....this was always very telling for me.

IF the moon was created on the 4th day it was GODS decision to begin on the 7th day the sabbath. In time with the moon cycles and in time for Moses to share the commandments. Moses did not have access to a calendar did he, so how else would the people know WHEN sabbath was? What about the shepherds in the fields, being away for days/weeks at a time. How would they have known of when the Sabbath was? By the moon phases. Please remember the original Hebrew calendar went by numbered days NOT named days of the week which IS PAGAN!!. The KING's Court. As a Christian its not wrong to observe Saturday as a day of worship. It is wrong when you used to gain favortism with God and also try to force it on other people. It is a common practice for Sabbatarians to be very legalistic about Saturday. That is why people look at those who cherish the 4th commandment with a raised eyebrow. Neither Saturday or Sunday should be referred to as a Sabbath because according to the bible you cannot have a Sabbath without acknowledging the New Moons. Christ abolished the Sabbath at the cross and he is now your true Sabbeth rest.

If you read genesis, the sabbath is the 7th day. The sun and moon weren't even created till the 4th day. So a week is not based on the moon. A month is based on the moon. When God created the moon, was it a new moon or a full moon? Or some other moon? Where is the proof? And if it's a new moon, then it had to be a new moon on the 4th day. If it is a full moon, it had to be a full moon on the 4th day. A day is like 1000 years, and a 1000 years is like 1 day to God. So this lunar sabbath belief would alter prophecy. We are in about the 6000th year of history. That's why world events are shaping up the way they are. The bible's 4th commandment is simple enough. 6 days shall you do all your work. Feel your pain, man. Bit of a different story though. Here are four evidences that help us identify the true Sabbath today: 1. The sixth day, seventh day, first day ... According to Scripture, Christ died on Friday, the sixth day of the week, and rose on Sunday, the first day of the week. Practically all churches acknowledge this fact when they observe Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Here is the Bible evidence: “This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb that was hewn out of the rock, where no one had ever lain before. That day was the Preparation, and the Sabbath drew near” (Luke 23:52-54). This is strong evidence that Jesus died the day directly before the Sabbath. It was called “the preparation day” because it was the time to get ready for the Sabbath. Let’s now look at the next few verses: “And the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed after, and they observed the tomb and how His body was laid. Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment” (vv. 55, 56). Please notice that the women rested over the Sabbath “according to the commandment.” The commandment says, “The seventh day is the Sabbath” (Exodus 20:10), so we know they were observing the seventh day (Saturday). The very next verse says, “Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb” (Luke 24:1, 2). How clearly these three consecutive days are described for us! Some suggest that a calendar change made by Pope Gregory XIII means the days of the week have been confused and, therefore, we can’t know the true seventh day today. It’s true that, in 1582, Pope Gregory made a change to the calendar. (Our calendar today is called the Gregorian calendar because of this change.) However, this change did not interfere with the weekly cycle. What exactly did Pope Gregory do to the calendar? Before 1582 the Julian calendar had been in effect, instituted by Julius Caesar around 46 BC. But the Julian calendar had calculated the length of the year as 365-1/4 days, but the year is actually eleven minutes fewer than 365-1/4 days. Those eleven minutes accumulated, and by 1582, the numbering of the calendar was ten days out of harmony with the solar system. Gregory simply dropped those ten days out of the numbering of the calendar. It was Thursday, October 4, 1582, and the next day, Friday, should have been October 5. But Gregory made it October 15 instead, dropping exactly ten days to bring the calendar back into harmony with the heavenly bodies. The word for “Sabbath” in many languages spoken around the world is the very word used to name the seventh-day of the week-known as Saturday by English-speaking nations like the United States. For example, the Spanish word for “Saturday” is “Sábado,” which means “Sabbath.” When these languages originated long, long ago, the seventh day of the week-Saturday-was recognized as the Sabbath day, and Sabbath was incorporated into the very name of the day. 4. Jews have kept the seventh day as Sabbath for millennia. Another fascinating evidence is the long history and practice of the oldest ethnic and religious group on earth helps us to accurately identify the seventh day. The Jewish people have been observing the Sabbath on the seventh day from the time of Abraham, and they still keep it today. I didn't look too deep into the different calendar days because we read in Genesis 1 that God created the world in 7 days. The 7th day is 7 days after the full moon, the full moon starts the new moonth. There are four 7 day cycles until the next full moon. Sometimes there is one day between the last 7th day and the full moon which is a preperation day. It took me ages to get my head around it as i was always looking at the world calendar but it's really simple once you know when the full moons are. Hope this helps ❤

I have been praying for a long time and doing research. I am not done with this. I have been praying to Yeshua for a long time about seeking HIS TRUTH. I am seeking the truth. I have kept it on Saturday from sunset to sunset when I first found out about the Fourth Commandment. I knew Sunday was not the Lord's Day. Now, I see something different. Allan Cross The sabbath after the passover was indeed the unleavened bread sabbath, but this video conveniently leaves out the fact that Jesus rose at the end of the weekly sabbath. So for Jesus to be in the grave 3 nights and 3 days, it was passover day when He was crucified before sundown(14th day;Lev 23), unleavened bread sabbath(15th day;Lev 23), preperation day for weekly sabbath, then the weekly sabbath when He rose before sundown (72hours exactly). So there were 2 sabbath days during the time that Jesus was in the grave, which should cause anyone who watches this video to ignore it... seeing that this was not taken into account. The weekly sabbath around the resurrection would then fall on this guy’s 17th day, which doesnt make sense at all.

Here is an example: new moon day (day 1) then you count 6 working days, then the day after the 6 working days is day 8 which makes it the first 7th day Sabbath of the MONTH not week. Makes sense?

6 days you shall work, but on the 7th you shall rest. So if the local community uses an 8 day week cycle, in an interval of 7 days your Sabbath would still land 7 days apart from each other. The name of the week are meaningless. There is a possibility that through history the day was accidentally lost, or transferred by neglect. But this is highly unlikely as the Jewish people are very particular about keeping things protected. And as per my research (I've not read all of history sadly) there doesnt seem to be any indication that they did this The whole argument about Hillel II, is simply based upon lunar calculations to determine the start of the month, due to being in the disperation and away from Israel, so that the Isralites across the globe could keep the Calander until a Sanhedrin was reestablished. (Which Jews need to get on it) This is not to determine the start of the week day, nor when the Sabbath is. It's clearly written in the scriptures work 6 days. Not 7, 8 or 9. But 6. And rest on the 7th.

Please explain how you are able to count the sabbath's for Shavuot and still have 50 days on the day after the 7th Sabbath from Unleavened Bread on a Luni-Solar Calendar as I have reviewed the calendars on WLC and it doesn't add up.

Leviticus 23:16 as evidence for a 100 day period makes little to no sense especially when using the parable of the Harvest in John 4:35, which was actually about seeing the signs of the times. Using Leviticus 23:16 as the basis of 100 days between Passover and Shavuot is also disproved in Deuteronomy 16:9-10 when it says seven weeks are to be counted off after Passover, ONLY seven weeks. Please also open your ears to this found in Jubilees which stands as a witness to the Genesis accounts. Jubilees 6:1 and then verses 14-17. This shows Noah building an altar to Yahuah on the New Moon of the third month and being instructed on the Feast of Shavuot which is to be kept that same month EVERY year. Please pray on this and consider what the scriptures are telling us brother, in Yahusha's name.

Juliois ceaser was the first to make a new calendar not baded on moon phases, his calendar started monday, the modern gregorian calendar is done in around 530 add. Saturday is not the true sabbath. The new moon is actually the first sliver of moon, one that can be counted, jews had watchmen, to watch for the new moon so they could begin counting. What we know for sure is, Yeshua was crucified on Passover (day 4 of the week) and was risen 3 days later as our First Fruits (first day of the week). Also the counting of 50 days to Pentecost. If you go back to that date, it's the best starting point. The book of jubilees says the moon will be off its course by 10 days in the latter times (early). So, None of use will be able to figure out the Appt Days. Study hard and do the best you can AND don't be too hard on others who don't agree with you for you may be the one in error! Shalom!
