I actually don’t take the sausage out of the pan when I make the sausage gravy. I just flour the sausage and cook it just a bit, then add the milk and cook it up. Take care & God bless. ♥️

In my opinion, ladies everywhere, if your husband asks to help or wants to help with chores, even if it's not how you do things, thank them anyway because if you nag that they are doing it wrong, they may just quit helping all together!!!! The gesture or thought is enough for me! Learn to not sweat the small stuff!!! Be appreciative and thankful and move along!!!!!!! Has always worked for me!!!!!!

Someone else may have already mentioned this, but Ruthann Zimmerman‘s channel did a tutorial on exactly what Austin did to your cast-iron. The modern cast-iron from the store is not smooth enough and grinding it down is exactly what you need to do. I appreciate your channel very much!

As for the gravy it’s easier to fry the sausage up then add the flour right in the sausage. Let it cook for a few minutes then add your milk and stir and season

Olive is the sweetest dog ever!!! In this house, breakfast is our favorite meal of the day-very often we have breakfast foods at supper time. I cooked the very same biscuit recipe for supper tonite and I also made some creamed chicken to serve over the biscuits. We had cranberry sauce with our creamed chicken over biscuits which made it very much like Thanksgiving dressing. It was delicious just like your breakfast looked here in this video. I love that you and Austin enjoy cooking together!!!

Hi, you three, it's always a pleasure to be with you. Aston has never been around old-timers in the kitchen. I grew up rolling out biscuits with a glass, I have to say that now a days you need to choose your glass wisely because they have some glasses that are so thin that I have had them break with my hand down inside them. Olive loves it when her daddy picks her up for hugs. God bless you all.

If you have a self cleaning oven, try putting your cast-iron in there when cleaning your oven depending on how much gunk is in your cast-iron you can adjust how long you want to clean your oven but it takes all that old grease and or rust off and then you can re-season it several times it and it’s just like magic!

Reckon that God put you "three" together. :). That "Brekie" sure beats "sogies" (cereal mush). Recently, we celebrated my beloved Late Dad-in law's 102nd birthday (100.5). I had the "Big Breakfast" enough for two days. :) I often wondered, when reading western novels, what are "biscuits"? Corie, when your Mom made them - they are our scones. Keep Well - God Bless.
