+Kito Brown (AspyreN7) there's all kinds of shortcuts. i actually think that the hacking menu is the best extras menu in almost any game, just based on the sheer amount of things you can do in it. like, there are audio files hidden in the codes, you can read emails between characters, cheats, modes, all kinds of shit :) and once you know the commands to open new directories you can hop in at any time. like if they just led with "login" and typed "frozenfish" it would have been there.

I'm not a very experienced fighting game player, so could someone fill me in on what the Zaibatsu's beef is with Blazblue? I've played a few matches with equally inexperienced players, and while I found the art style and character designs interesting, I don't exactly have the expertise to understand the fault in its mechanics.

+SixCubit I remember them mentioning it on the Podcast. Something about them hating the artstyle and character designs. They admitted that they were super petty about it. Its probably for the best. They probably only played CT and have no idea about anything thats changed since then.

+SixCubit From what I've gathered, it seems they dislike the amount of systems that each character has. Certain characters have multiple mechanics you need to pay attention to, and more than one usually becomes hard to keep track of. They also dislike the designs of the characters and how "totally NOT Guilty Gear" it is, since they are massive fans of Guilty Gear. Woolie even said that they're "drama queens" about Blazblue, so they know they're biased.

+SixCubit It basically boils down to osmosis. Other fighting game players on sites like SRK liked to shit on Blazblue (especially when all that we had was CT), and so they do too. This is also likely why they spout the same tired complaints whenever it's brought up (combos last forever), when that only applies to certain versions and is a moot point when the people playing are a bunch of scrubs who'd be lucky to hit a 3 hit combo.

According to one terribly silly Wikipedia editor, 'KZbin videos are not a reliable source, but game reviews are', which is why this video can't be used as a source for the case of multiplayer in Enter The Matrix. I can see that being the case for a KZbin video where someone just SAYS something is true, but wouldn't a video like this with not only a detailed step-by-step process on how to access the mode, but visual proof of its existence be a far more reliable source than an article? Unfortunately, on the opposite side the one person trying to convince the editor of his/her folly was doing it in a super stupid way. Protip: if you want to convince a bad Wikipedia editor that they're wrong, resorting to ad hominem attacks is not the way to go about it.
