Wow the actors aged gracefully 😮💜 just today i watched this movie on a streaming site and boy! it knocked my socks off completely. During my dad's heydays he had watched Sat night fever.

I presume you have heard about this new Capital One advertisement where John Travolta plays a character who is a cross between Santa and Tony Manero. He recreates a few of the famous Scenes from Saturday Night Fever. Donna Pescoe, who had played Annette, also appears. It has had some very positive feedback comments on line. Perhaps it shall generate enough interest to produce a second Saturday Night Fever sequel.

A few years ago there was a documentary on T.V about the making and success of Saturday Night Fever, several members of the cast were interviewed. To be honest, I hadn’t heard of most of them since Saturday Night Fever was released, but it was good to see them on screen again and discover they are still around!😊

I think Fran deserved the Academy Award for that performance in Saturday Night Fever. She nailed the role of the typical Brooklyn disco bimbo back in the late 1970's.

Classic iconic film....That's was during a time that Disco was.considered "Cool" & everybody wanted in.....This film started a lot of A list star early careers. I still can't get the scene out of my head when the guy fell off the Verrazano Bridge.....A shame that actor best known to fall off a bridge. But it was a memorable scene.,... 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

Many of the cast in this film smoked on screen. I am glad so many of them are still around. They could have got hooked on the weed and died of lung cancer or heart disease.

My brain completely crashed, so I had to go to this. How I managed to allow this to slip from the top drawer, I believe may have to do with long Covid. I’m a vault of common knowledge, so this shouldn’t have been so difficult. I even did the alphabet thing, where I go through each letter and wait for the name to be revealed. This is so depressing. At least I have my phone to salvage my mind.
