Hello Mr. Feezy, I am a 55 year old grandmother who works at a homeless shelter. I do vulnerability assessments with the clients we serve. I have been watching your videos because your really paint a good picture of the stories or your experiences within the prison walls. Your detailed stories help me to understand what our "returning citizens" have gone through. It helps me to know what mindset some are in. I am able to breakthrough some walls that they have up because I have gotten an understanding of why some come back looking over their shoulders all the time, or why they are verbally combative with staff or others. I look at those I serve as my possible uncles or people I know and we have open conversations that help them to really see themselves and see what it is they really need within to help them to move forward in life; at least they see a realistic place to start. Thank you for what you do ☺️ because there are so many people I've came in contact with that took the job only for the pay and got mistreated by them but I worked hard to find another caseworker and they got me into an apartment with rental assistance. Bro I used to STARVE in the GDC on the weekends. They'd serve a damn dinner at like 4-5 depending on which dorms went first and last and then like once a week they'd serve damn nasty ass beef liver and I would try like hell to eat it and couldn't. Then it's 11PM and all the dudes with family sending money would be cooking big ass wraps going to bed full as hell and I'd be starving like hell. I eventually started polishing boots and making beds to get a little commissary each week. That's one reason why I bless every meal and thank God for every piece of food I eat. If you've never truly starved before, you just don't know.

I didn’t know how he was having heavy smoke coming from his cell without the guards seeing it. Every prison i was at would have had guards rushing in within 15 minutes or less. It didn’t matter if it was the weekend or not. Sht, we couldn’t even have too much cigarette smoke without them running in to catch us. And they served lunch on weekends too,But then again, i was in Florida prisons.
