Great video, sir. Scale motorsports is the real deal. Super nice guy and great products. Also nice PSA about eBay and buying used or opened kits. I got stung at model shows on two separate occasions, but I don’t make that mistake anymore. 😊. Have a great time at the show.

Scale motorsport does do quality work. They do great twill weave carbon. My stand didn't come packaged anywhere close to like this. I use Ebay and Buyee all the time for models. a lot of things I'm after, you aren't finding in hobby lobby. You are right. You have to know what you are looking for, and really look at the photos and read the descriptions and some times check the other items from a seller and do your research. You also have to know what you are willing to pay and be ready to walk away from it if it goes past that. I set for myself a maximum price I am willing to pay. If the seller wants to play the game to run it up and runs up over what I'm willing to pay, the they get to buy their own model. I completely agree on prep, cleanliness (of the plastic, my work space is chaos) and proper masking. I spent 7 hours and a small fortune in Tamiya tape last night masking stripes on my 69 mustang build. I have easily 9 hours of raw footage just for the body prep video (I really should be editing on that right now...) Have a great weekend!

Love that Duster build! Good information on eBay, I had stepped away from eBay for years for those reasons...Just recently started selling some stuff and purchasing some stuff, I try to stay away from bidding, buy it now or make an offer and really watch stuff, almost bid on an original AMT 57 Chevy, guy had like 8 pictures of the box in all angles and one open showing contents, it looks like a 34 Ford pickup was the kit in the box. Go figure.

Interesting product. I too avoid Ebay and Paypal like the plague. Had a few very bad experiences on both, with my CC info stolen twice on PP with a third failed attempt made. I had a similar experience with misboxed kit. Ordered a Matchbox kit of their 1/72 British Lancaster bomber. I received the box, instructions and decals of the Lancaster, but the kit was their USAAF B-17 bomber. Ah well, luckily I had spare B-17 decals. A couple times I have ordered a certain item, and received something totally different and unrelated. It happens. I order from Amazon, so Ebay isn't the only source that screws up occasionally.

I HAVE TRUST ISSUES WITH REALLY GOOD REASONS.... I don't order anything from anyone who doesn't except money order.. And it's still sketchy these days, ya just hope for the best 🤞😎 Great video Brother..

Ebay is not as good as it used to be but it still can be really good if you pay attention. You can still get some good deals.

the problem with clean is one guy may think a desk and floor covered in clutter but has a clearing to walk thru and build a model and thinks hes working clean 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 then you got mr clean who not only can walk thru to desk but that desk got nothin but open dustn lint free spce to cleanly work on anything let alone a plastic model. lol, sorry but i couldnt resist pointing this out. each one of us has completly diff end results and especially the rout they take to get their. not everyones level of clean will be what yours n mine are but they see no problems yet doing it in sub par conditions or building whatever a model, a tree fort, or a building their after. but its the butt hurt people that will intergect my desk is clean or this or that and completely miss that they got to the end goal but their goal is fluttered with dust n contaminates that show in the paint job or build but they still dont wanna beleive they did anything not perfect because that was and is how they will look at their stuff and completely miss what coulda been if they could only take some freindly advice. GREAT VID N POINT TO ALL do your homework or you got nobody to thank but yoself foooooo’s🤣🤣🤣😂🤣
