Saturday with Sam - guess who can get on the bed!

Sam is the best little man! Oh the fun you are going to have next Spring when you go on your walks. Is Mommy getting tired of washing Lammie? Sam must have duplicate toys. Inside toys and outside toys. My Yorkie Joey has duplicate toys too. By the way, Joey the Yorkie says Hi Sam! Yorkies are the best. Such big personalities in such a little body. They sure do love their Humans. You can look forward to have Sam with you on all of your projects around the house and property. Keep us posted!

@@yorkiemom1892 Don’t say anything, but there are actually three lammies! Although at the moment, we are down to just two. One suffered a tragic gutting incident, mom is going to repair that though…..

150 years ago, the Yorkshire breed was developed to be ratters in textile mills, so the behavior is innate. But the little buggers were so cute that the ladies working in the mills started taking them home at night, which explains why sleeping on the bed with their humans has become another innate trait. No Yorkie has to be trained to snuggle under the covers. Once there, getting them back on the floor risks being mistaken for a rat.

So far Sam has done a really good job at finding our bed, hopefully he’ll do as well when he finds an actual rodent,
