I genuinely love this man. I wrote him a letter, he sent it back with an addition saying how much he loved it. He also sent back a picture of my son I had sent for him to see, signed. It is of my son eating dinner. He went through a phase for over a year where he would only eat if he had Skeletor with him. Mr. Oppenheimer wrote “Skeletor says enjoy your meals!” What a sweetheart to not only read but to reply to his fan mail. A rare breed.

Great range and so many voices. When I was a kid and paid attention to voice actors I overlooked him, I think because his voice isn't as obvious as many others, which just shows how talented he is.

Neverending Story was my favorite movie when I was a kid and Falkor remains to this day one of my favorite characters ever. So imagine how excited I was to meet him last year at Tampa Bay Comic Con.

I think mr. Oppenheimer is one of the few big 80s voice actors that's still gets work semi regularly, heck he's even slated to voice Moss Man in the new Netflix He-Man show coming out next year.

As a kid sometimes voices have a familiar ring, but you can't quite put your finger on it. It's cool how in some of the other voices Skeletor or Man-At-Arms peaks out every so often and with others are absolutely unique. A true talent

NintendoGuy64 That's the Filmation Mighty Mouse cartoon from the late 1970's. In the original Mighty Mouse cartoons from the 1940's and the 1950's, I think Mighty Mouse was voiced by Tom Morrison, who was the head of the story department at Terrytoons. (And the Papa in the Terry Bears series was voiced by the janitor at Terrytoons. Shows you what a low budget (for theatrical cartoons) cartoon studio Terrytoons was.)

There was an episode of The Smurfs where they had to team up with Gargamel in order to get a book back from a troll. The troll sounded like Skeletor after he had sucked helium. Did Alan Oppenheimer do the voice of the troll in that episode. Smurfs episode: The Fountain of Smurf.
