@@davidgrenier Lorne has always been way too conservative with a lot of the mediocre sketches that make it to air. I feel like SNL could use a lot more super bizarre, absurdist, WTF humor like this. Another one of Will Forte's sketches I really love is the NASA skit where Jason Sudeikis vomits up a potato chip into his hand. And of course, Clancy T. Bachleratt and Jackie Snad singing Easter duets. So stupid but pure genius.

@@crispytg: Only kinda. He was fired twice, both times due to budget cuts. The first time, after his 2nd season, Will Ferrell lobbied hard to get him back. The second time was after his 8th season, & he said he was cool with it; he's made guest-appearances on the show a few times since then.

I was a kid when he was on, and I dunno why but he stood out as remarkable. I remember specifically Will Forte was someone I could guarantee was gonna be funny. I also loved Hader. Why was he so underrated?
