I was working with Goldie Hawn on a movie in 1997, and inbetween shots she was talking about her being half Jewish, and I couldnt resist bringing up this song to her. She had never heard it and in fact had no clue who Adam Sandler was at the time, again, this was 1997. So over the weekend I went out and bought a tape with this song, and on monday I played it for her.....Think about Goldies on film giggles, well, she went fully into that. one of the highlights of my career

In the gospel of John verses 10:22-24 it says He was in Jerusalem for the Feast of Dedication (another name for Hanukkah) walking in the temple courts when His fellow Jews asked Him if He was the Messiah. He was healing lame people and giving people born blind sight yet they still doubted Him because He did not fit their narrative as a Conquering King to kick Roman control out of Israel. And the first guy to play lead in Mission Impossible, too -- "Dan Briggs" played by Steven Hill -- Hill used to arrange for prayer meetings with Shatner and Nimoy, until poor Mr. Hill was fired for refusing to work on the Sabbath (replaced by Peter Graves as Jim Phelps).
