@Kyle Jones Their fans sold out Hyundai cars. Minors can't do that. A large part of the fandom are adults, including myself. Nothing wrong with wearing makeup. Freddie did, Adam Lambert does, Boy George, Adam Ant, Bowie, pretty much most metal bands...The list goes on. Funny enough though, the youngest BTS member is a black belt in taekwondo and has the balls to be suspended over a massive canyo upside down. The leader is in the top 1% of people with the highest IQs in Korea. One of the dancers got rejected for a rival company then still practised for hours outside the audition room, which caught the attention of a talent spotter. The oldest member has become a part of UNICEF's honours club for the sheer amount he donates, 2nd youngest has a voice deeper than the Atlantic Ocean, other dancer studies interpretive dance which is physically demanding on your body and finally, Yoongi had to choose between lunch or bus fares and worked his ass off to get to his position. Their good deeds make them more manly than some gross, fragile men with unwashed asses. It's not gay to have a wash for once.

Luis Rodriguez Bts is huge because they work really hard with trying to use their their music to spread awareness , inspire change and send a positive message . The English translation of their korean name is “bullet proof Boy Scouts” Bts music tackles a lot of social issues , injustices and challenges societal norms. A lot of things they based on South Korean society issues that relate to the world. They tackle mental health , anxiety, depression ,suicide, academic, etc. they cover important topics such as self love , self respect , motivation , not giving into pressure. This is why their fans are super devoted because they respect a group that connects with things we all relate. Plus you don’t really hear or see much artists that do these things nowadays.

I just want to add , it’s sometimes hard to being a bts fan. Some people look at bts at just another boyband and say negative things but them , never bother understand the REAL reasons why their huge. @Kyle Jones lol. Its not my fault that you have grow up to be bombarded by fakes on your western media show, like xfactors and such. You should know that there are a lot of artists that are exempted to that kind of thing. BTS trained and singing together for almost ten years, if they are pretentious, they probably disbanded like five years ago bcoz they cannot overcome the hatred that has been thrown to them or bcoz they cannot even almost release music bcoz their company cant support them whose almost at the edge of bankcrupcy. BTS is here for music. I loved them for their music. Not all artists are the kind of artists that you always see. The world is big. Dont be close minded.
@shakirakristal5 жыл бұрын
@Kyle Jones and FYI,BTS is not a product of a survival show. They auditioned bcoz they dreamed to become artists. And people loved them bcoz they create good music. Their music is known to be called "music for healing" . Theyre not your typical boyband who sings love songs and how to date girls. Their songs are mostly critically acclaimed because of the message they want to send to those who listen. And u say that they do it for money, lol i tell you, BTS members already given us a lot of free items like free mixtapes and songs. And no other mainstream artists do that to their fans.

And you can't put BTS in a category with other Kpop groups, they are just THAT different, like their company.They have sincerity and free reign when creating music. They have a lot of history in the hip hop scene, they were initially a hip hop group when they debuted, and both RM and Suga were underground rappers. They also were mentored by Coolio and Warren G in their show, American Hustle Life to learn about hip hop history & music. I suggest checking out their rappers' mixtapes, Hope World, Agust D, RM, and Mono, as well as their older albums, like Dark and Wild & 2 Cool 4 Skool, which are more hip hop oriented

feels so nostalgic watching because this performance is what made me an army in 2019 as a senior in HS. I remember being so fascinated and showing all of my friends and family this performance bc the synchronization and energy truly captured me. I had no idea bts existed prior to watching and the foreignness of a performance with this much hard work put into it made it so much more impressive for me. I just happened to watch this snl episode and didn’t know how much it would truly change my life. I was at a low point and not only did this band help me through that, but they truly became people I looked up to to better my own life. I found myself exploring interests I never would have and truly just wanting to become a more well rounded individual. will always have a soft spot for bts and this song

Lenn Elangbam Deathmask Kpop world is different compared to how American music industry is . They take a lot of pride and work into perfecting they’re craft and is more competitive . Kpop artists train for years from vocal exercise , cardio training , diets , dance practice , etc . About 10-15 hrs a day . They’re record labels decide when they debut when they know they’re ready . After awhile they become pros and train less due to they’re busy schedule .

I love how you could even tell that from their performance 😊 I’ve been into kpop for around 6 years now and bts are one of the most down to earth groups that I have come across. In appearances and interviews you can really see their personalities come across. Even though there’s many good English interviews with them, I’d recommend checking out Korean ones with subtitles (since then each and every member can actually say exactly what they want to say!) and check out their appearances in Korean talk shows and variety shows too, or even videos of when they talk during their concerts 😊
