I scrolled through the comments for a good chunk of time but couldn't find anyone talking about Chloe Fineman's summary of the hockey game, which is insane to me. I watched that part a few times with and without subtitles. I have absolutely no idea what she's saying but, even more impressively, I have no idea HOW she's saying any of that. Were the cue cards going by like a flip-book or something? Damn impressive.

Apparently some sketches are cut if they get too many laughs, for the reason that SNL airs late at night, and if some viewers laugh too uproariously at something, their laughter may wake up people who are sleeping. Thus, the sketches should all be funny, but not too funny.

Bowen Yang is the most versatile actor I’ve seen on SNL in decades. His commitment to a character is unmatched this season. It’s so powerful and so healing to see another queer person of color break out of typecasting and take up a lot of space- we got a lot of catching going up to do .. but I’m finally back to watching SNL after a 10 year hiatus. Quebecois is a language/dialect all in its own, haha. I run across "frogs" when I go to outdoor shows and they are there manning booths for hunting/fishing trips. The minute I hear their frog English, I try to talk to them longer....it's just fun getting them going, lol.
