Jonah’s performance made me laugh on two levels. First, his delivery is funny as hell. Second, his mannerisms remind me of the stage trick I taught my kids where one talks while wearing an oversized sweater and their sibling hides behind them with their arms through the sleeves. It becomes a game of both trying to improvise together without knowing what the other will do next. Either the hands try to match the speaker’s words or vice-versa.

PS: they have no time to memorize anything, they basically get all the scripts ready staurday morning. they are always changing lines, sketches and details, it's impossible to memorize everything. watch interviews with the actors or Franco's documentary about SNL and you'll understand.
