I think she must've learned a great lesson from having all that online hate/bullying pointed at her; perhaps now that she knows how it feels, it will change her future behavior. ganymedelV4 -- I had no idea. I've never even heard of Leslie til this clip from SNL (I don't watch much TV). Either way, I'm still impressed by this piece. I think she must be learning some hard won life lessons from all that's happened recently. If she's done & said the things you've written about, my guess is there's a lot of hurt & anger inside, & I'm also betting there's a good reason she's pointing it at white people (that includes me). Not an excuse, but a REASON -- mind you, there's a difference. For me, it comes down to having compassion & trying to understand why any African American might feel pissed at white people. If I can understand, it's easier not to take it personally (b/c it's not). I have tons of black friends, & I've heard & seen with my own eyes some of the horrific racist crap they have to deal with on nearly a daily basis, & I can honestly say, if I had to live like that, day in, day out, I'd be hard-pressed not to have a big fat chip on my shoulder, too. Again, I'm not making excuses.....I'm just saying, I think I can understand that type of anger, & IMO, it arises for good reason (self preservation, self respect, feeling wounded, etc.).
