ricky100593. Leslie Jones is 49 years old and she grew up in a time before being politically correct was important. I am 44 and when I was growing up we didn't worry so much about the words we used and we did not worry so much about offending someone. Facts were facts. If you were fat, we used the word "fat". today you can not say this and you can not say that. there is too much censorship. It worries me sometimes.

Colin is actually the type of guy you want to have as a bestfriend and then y'all make a promise to each other to marry each other if you are both not married at a certain age.
@porakanasa20063 жыл бұрын
Can I kindly ask you something? I know it's been a year since you posted your comment but my wondering has nothing to do with time, is just one of those things I always found interesting and never had a chance to properly ask someone who can possibly give me an answer on their on terms. But I have to admit, I checked your other videos here and you seem as a smart and funny person, so immediately I got my boost up to continue with my intention much more confident. I know it's a Y.T. comment section and of course you're not obliged to answer it or give me a back story, but instead of just posting the question, I felt the need to give you a back story so you can see that I am really serious and fairly curious to understand it fully from a real person ( assuming from the States before looking at your videos, but hearing the accent I'm no longer sure but definitely more curious ) instead of just googling it. Adding to this long introduction, I also feel the need to explain my self, I am a 36 year old female from Eastern Europe, very much engaged in most of the American media outlets, news, shows, movies, gossips (as much as we can get here) and I am using my work account ( I realize that my display name is generic for someone who doesn't understand our language and it doesn't give away neither where I am from or whether I'm a female or male, age and so on, nor my profession as a psychologist). So, I'm apologizing up front for taking your time thus far, but upon reading your comment under a SNL sketch, I couldn't miss the opportunity to ask you about what seems to be a common practice in the States, other countries too perhaps, to have a friend from an opposite sex with whom you are very close and you promise each other to marry one day at a certain age. I guess my question to you is do you have a specific most common age in general ( I get that is of course subjective) but I feel that in most of the things I watch or read it feels like when this type arrangements are made between friends, they are not binding for sure, but is almost always the number ''40''. Like they say 99 percent in movie quotes or in a talk show dialogue that they will marry '' after we hit 40's'' Again, I did not mean this to feel like a report of any sort, or an academic essay, but by you responding to me ''the rules'' just in your surroundings I will get a clearer understanding to this practice in general. Not just because I'm hitting 40's soon, it is the simplest fact that we never ever had that type of convo or a ''joke'' if you will and if it is, in our daily communication and mentality, when some of us try to do that, the other person is clearly stating the fact that it is a TV thing or even a Western thing. I am not going to ask you more to give a social commentary about that, because we are on a public forum on SNL's Y.T. section, but coming from you (a reasonable person who might grasp my ignorance on the subject based on a TV knowledge and in no way from an actual life, I'm going to ask you do this type of things happen a lot where you are from, I mean would you say that most of the people follow through, or is just in a way just mostly an expression among the young single people and even if the number of age can be changeable) are the ''40's are more common because of the expected limit of this number had anything to do with the social norms of a certain society or even the biological clock of the woman, or it all originated from some famous movie/TV line I am not familiar with.. Here we have an expression, even though we are far from western countries ( even my body and facial features are your typical Eastern European stereotypes)in many departments, people here are becoming progressives and more westernized in a sense that they don't get marry any more just because they are approaching the fine line between: Oh, she is just the girl with a carrier priority instead of making a family and those who are a considered to get marry when the circumstances are all aligned. Which means, probably, since I had a bed break up 10 years ago and never made such a pact with a male friend and I don't get married until 40's ( last chance) I am automatically accepted in group that is getting larger by time of women, called (literally translated from English: ''стара девојка'' meaning ''old girl''...not a woman, an old girl, aside from all of your achievement, kind of derogative Like it was not my personal choice, I wont go as far as to say ''damaged good'' cause for that you have to be known as someone who went through a lot of man. The imagined comparison would probably be that IF I'm born ''there'', if is really common in practice, i would have already have my safety net with that male friend who I made this pact with. I know I'm asking a lot here, but as I've said, even though I took your time ( If you did not skipped already and I sincerely apologized) you DO ARE NOT obliged to have your take on any part of this long comment. I will understand and maybe some day I will understand the origin and rules for it. But if you can and will, it will be very much appreciated just in few lines, to give a closer look as a real person not a TV character, giving an insight as to possible prevalence of this type of arrangements, the most used number, 40's perhaps, or your comment ending with the words ''certain age'' are a comment on it's on ( which got me to stop scrolling and contemplate this whole concept idea and taking up the courage to ask you, proving my serious attempt to know more by giving away my personal info from the work account so you wont hopefully dismiss me 5 lines in) and even though I took all the fun out of it, maybe you'll pass all of that and just give a short comment. Mine was to do every thing one needs when expecting an reply back. Even if you just ignore all of this, it doesn't change my perception of you based on those personal videos of you. So either way, I wish nothing but best for you Larisa. Much love, Martina.
@porakanasa20063 жыл бұрын
Please know that I'm aware that we were both watching a comedy skit and my long commentary inspired by your short observance reminded me of this whole premise of the joke and my lack of knowledge of the real ''friends as a back up'' practice and my professional deformation came through my writing (I'm one of those people who rarely type or comment but when I do is with people who I find genuine, on subject I find no other platform to directly communicate. For me even this is short, because I would have use my time also to ask about (as I've said we get mostly the second hand gossips here, we rarely have a glimpse of Page Six for example) Colin Jost and his tweet about naming his baby Cosmo. I watched his interview with Seth Meyer's which was a click bait named: How did they come up with the name Cosmo, and went on to tell full on story about it, never admitting that the name was a joke, but I don't use Twitter, so either he never told the truth about the real name to the public yet, either anywhere on Y.T. comment section people think it is named after so and so. And his book '' A very punchable face', even though here is really, really expensive to purchase a book from a celebrity (half of my salary almost) it's not something that is easy even if it was a cheaper. So I guess you now have a better insight into the environment of where I am coming from, I DO apologize for my English if something is not understandable. I still cant find also the new material that John Mulaney is doing nowadays around the comedy clubs after getting sober ( by guess that you are a SNL fan) and found just that one forum in which by asking people like you, who generously explained it to me and even send me links of 2-3 articles explaining the intervention that Bill Hadder, Fred Armisen, Seth Meyers and other friends did for him before going into the rehab and he's now in patient care and already divorced with Ana, and having a kid with Olivia Munn, which is what he already told in his first public appearance on the Seth's show. But there no any links from material he is currently doing. I don't even know how is she (Olivia Munn) in general public, you know the usual ( a homewrecker or someone with whom he found true love. Again, aside from all of this, I can only wish you well for you and your family, Martina.
