They would have us come to practice and then would work with the chourus members and the main charecters do nothing for about the first two weeks. Reminds me of a typical rehearsal of ánything. I usually try taking the lead in those situations, but people will say you're bossy and burn down all of your ideas, so you (I) sit down quietly again, untill in the end, the teacher comes along and you've got nothing to show. In the end, I had to seriously ask permission to finish each project on my own. The teachers told me it was a stupid plan, that it would make me isolated and that I had to learn to work with others. In facts, they were right. In practice, I was right. I got my diploma and the rest of my group had to start over the entire yéár, because they'd tried to commit fraud with their mentors autographs so they wouldn't have to finish the project.

Its kinda annoying how everyone is talking about how Lin Manuel Miranda saved Broadway...Hamilton is a great show and Lin Manuel Miranda is a amazing and talented guy but there are more amazing broadway musicals than just Hamilton or DEH or BMC. Just listen to a few like Wicked, Phantom of the opera, Cats, Les Miserables, RENT, or Evita and you will realize Broadway doesn't need saving...There is more to Broadway than a few select shows that became popular because of rapping or well known names...Not at all to say that Hamilton isn't great because it is, but there are other musicals that are classic that are just as good.

Umm, i know there are other musicals but I still like Hamilton. Just because something is overrated doesn’t make it bad.

ExoticPotato of course not! I like Hamilton as well, I was simply saying that other shows deserve credit as well and they never needed saving

It reminded me of when the entire fifth grade at my school tried to sing it for our promotion ceremony. In the end, the chorus teacher gave up on us and chose this other girl, who sang solo. To be fair, she did have an amazing voice.

When "Stomp!" came up, I couldn't help but think about Peter Capaldi's view on the show; "....it's just a lot of Australian-looking people banging things off of each other and making as much noise as possible....I've paid a small fortune for this racket when I could just have gone into any one of my local cafes and listened to all the toddlers banging their Cybermen's heads off the tables."
