Yes, I do know, since I can hear, that he has an exquisite singing voice. Outside of this, I would reference Phantom of the Opera; some loved his voice and some hated it; I am in the former camp.

im pretty sure it was written to say like that in the cue cards or he was told to say it like that in the rehearsal and i think like that because of the rest of the dialog in that moment is about repeating what he just said but louder. if there was no repeating of the same thing than maybe i would suggest that he chose to whisper that too

However, our first child, an unexpected pandemikid, is due this month so I will say "thank you." I really am entering parenthood for the first time. ... I was 16 when Shrek came out. With its all-star cast and pop music soundtrack I know it wasnt just meant for babies. My parents, two huge theater/literature/cinema nerds, never showed me garbage (like most of Disney's catalogue). This version was even better than the original ! Love the plot twist it has me laughing throughout the whole skit !!! Gerard as the beast nailed it and his singing voice was gorgeous ! He needs too do more comedy he is hysterical especially when he calls her the beast so funny !!!!!!
