Y'all remember on 9/11 when the towers went down how Steve Buscemi left Hollywood and went to NY and rejoined his old Firefighting crew and went months rendering aid and didn't tell a soul about it but we still found out? Steve Buscemi is a American National Treasure.

He worked 12 hour shifts for several days (not months), sifting through the rubble with his FDNY brothers, looking for trapped people and bodies. if someone lives with their Mom, wouldn't that reduce the odds of bringing home anyone without the Mom knowing about it and therefore actually being safer for guests to visit? Statistically, most victims of molestation are victimized by their parents not the neighbors, uncle/aunt, teacher, or people actually on the sex offender list surprisingly. I taught children for 10 years and on my first day of teaching, I had 6 kids tell me they were being molested by their parents, 2 of them by the parents (mothers and fathers) who picked them up each time. I reported every time the issue was brought up and nothing changed. As long as your parent you have a 50% chance of getting away with it, so they do. And because many adults are parents worldwide, they take each other side like gang members putting the blame on single people and even governments just have CPS take the kids away for like 2 weeks and bring the kids back. I watched that happen in the hood for 20 years, it's amazing. so much worse than Dateline NBC. you wanna protect kids? Go after the parents. The news media won't touch it because most of their ratings depend on parents watching their programs. Even the police and FBI are slow to react or not at all because it's parents who make good money and whose taxes pay for their programs. That is the real mafia of sex abuse and no one cares. So instead we worry about Weinsten and sex abuse island and random rich people taking advantage of people, but not sex traffcifing victims worldwide that are sold into slavery by their parents to people involved in that crime syndicate who are also parents. Do I really have to explain this to people? Come on.

This is my first SNL sketch I saw (I'm european) and they bought me immediately. This is my type of humour, now I like to come back every year just to check out if it's stil funny. IDK why but it's even funnier.

Absolutely loved Steve Buscemi as Cornell in 28 days. That movie helped me stop drinking and I still find it inspiring to this day! He’s really super believable as an addiction recovery counselor and really makes the recovery house in the movie that much more realistic.

I like that the implicit premise in this sketch is that everyone at that university were convinced he was a sexual predator, but only acted on it to get ahead of a scandal they thought they might break in the wake of Penn State.
@stephenreeds36723 жыл бұрын
The explicit premise is that we are judged by what we look like not what we do. Like John Humphreys being approached by mum's in a park because he was a middle aged man on his own... therefore, a paedophile.
@caitie2263 жыл бұрын
yes, and instead of taking the prompt to actually reflect and investigate properly, they just profiled and targeted one guy
@johnr7972 жыл бұрын
Where did you get that lol? The premise is that Steve buscemi is odd looking so everyone assumed he was a pedophile
@makokx70632 жыл бұрын
@@johnr797 That is the explicit premise, but think about it. Everyone is convinced he is a pedophile just by looking at him, right? He is not a new coach, right? So that means he was there for years and everyone thought he was a molester and no one even looked into it UNTIL the Penn State incident, hence implicit premise. The original poster is completely right.

The message is basically a don't judge a book. And also this happened a lot, just 'cause someone seems creepy doesn't mean they actually are.
