Sorry but that's the part I found the most awkward. Yeah I get she's a lesbian but really guys????? Cheap offensive attempt for a laugh. TV sketch comedy was better in the 60s and 70s. SNL stopped being funny in the 90s. That's about when I stopped watching. I cannot name any cast members outside of Kate and Leslie Jones.

These comments are pissing me off. 1. Emily going up into Kate's face was not a play on the fact that Kate's a lesbian. It was because she's one of the only people on SNL that makes it worth watching and it's funny to see her break character 2. There isnt any sexual tension between Emily and Kate. If someone came up to you in a bulky costume and, with a voice changer, breathed in your ear and asked you if you would like an ooey gooey cheese quesidila, you would laugh too, regardless of gender/sexuality 3.
