Shani and Rahu are similar in being both: Grahas that are rebellious and outcasted, along with being two of the heaviest karmic Grahas. Shani’s 3rd aspect: I always have seen it as Shani pointing to that house and yelling: “SEE THAT? NOPE! IF YOU WANT THAT HOUSE, SHOW AND PROVE TO ME THAT YOU DESERVE IT BY PUTTING OUT ALL YOUR EFFORT, OTHERWISE NOPE!” Shani aspecting Rahu and Aries, Shani is harshly, well, “knocking the wind” out of those who are selfish and even potentially narcissistic by putting them to the test if they DO deserve their indulgences. I love Saturn's aspects. Being aquarian and having rahu in good placement, have a tendency to give away wealth like flowing water, ofcoz we need strict boundaries of Saturn to make the limitations, for our own good. Aquarian can only give others once their pitcher is fulfilled for own self.

But donation to needy gives good karma and blessing always. The needy can be anybody. Even a hungry dog u come across. Putting water out for birds n animals or feeding them regularly. As Aquarius lagna and Rahu exactly on my ascendent (in Shatabishak). Also have Saturn in the third house (in Aries). Right now Rahu is in Aires conjunct Saturn, (my ascendent lord), and Saturn has just moved into Aquarius. This must be some kind of yoga - ? And yes, I am a giver to others -money wise, time-wise and energy wise. You could say I am service oriented to a fault, like with not much left over for myself. I never let money rule my actions but it seems to always come when I need it
