This is one aspect in my natal chart that I wish I didn't have. I have Venus in Capricorn Squaring Saturn in Aries. It's the worst. I'm a hopeless romantic deep inside and I always fantasise about love and having a relationship, but I've never had one (I'm 22). I have this placement in Pisces 5th house (+ Venus is my 7th house ruler) and I never been in a relationship at almost 27. I beat the odds and learned to fully love myself at age 24. I can feel it so deeply, i have faced it and i am still facing it (31y.old), well not that much now but it has been so intense. I was with someone in a long term relationship with Venus opposition Saturn. He was emtionally abused and neglected by his parents in certain ways. He was very cruel to me and hurtful. He witheld emotions and affection from me and in the end broke my heart. His lack of connection with his heart was a result of his childhood so I understand now, but it’s important to be careful when you are involved with people who have this placement unless they go to therapy and heal their wounds. I loved him unconditionally but bc of his mother’s lack of conditional love he rebelled against me as if I was the mother. I had to prove my love and at the end of the day was told it was not enough- so true about What Lada says. I was busier and I know he felt something was wrong with me. I myself have venus sextile saturn. i fell in love with a guy with venus square saturn in capricorn and to top it all off his venus is retrograde. Crumbs, just came across your video yesterday and had to watch it in two halves, it just struck home and spoke my truth so much too, the learnings about low self confidence, low self esteem and self worth. I can see now how I have to get serious (Saturn) about this now. I have Venus in Pisces in 5th sextile Saturn in Taurus in 7th. Although this is a good aspect to have I think, I know realise how much I've been unconscious to the potential of this due to the rejection from my father and almost non existent relationship with my father.. also this has led me back to my Saturn return when I was in my last long term relationship, that I was so happy in, so confident in. Now however I can see how I might have sabotaged everything I ever wanted, by not knowing how truly great I am in relationships and that career isn't everything. It even got me to go back to see his family through Facebook and came across his Mums date of birth, so I looked up her planets and signs, we were much more similar than I realised including both being 3 Life Path's and that she shared the same birthday as my Grandma. It's weird there was a really feeling of home with his family. This realisation yesterday blew me away, so much so I couldn't take anymore in, so I had to go out and finish watching this video today. I feel like something has shifted, that maybe isn't that hard, career isn't everything, but I was really taken with the model thing, as I never looked or felt better than when I was with this guy, my self esteem just grew and grew, we were together 2 years and took me 7 to get over. I have the square. My first marriage was with a man 13 years older, he was emotionally cold, I got divorced at age 23. Well,I know many Billionaire and wealthy people has Venus-Saturn aspect. Look at Jeff Bezos, Donald Trump. They have Venus-Saturn. Venus(ruled by Taurus/Libra- material possessions ans relationship, self-esteem) is gained via Saturn(ruled by Capricorn-ambition, social grace, elegeant,time). Another thing with this aspect/conj and staying till the bitter end, is to not settle for the bare minimum. I have a big issue with this and I'm only 16. Instead of realizing that this relationship (any kind of relationship) just won't work out, I'll try to stay and compromise. (Honestly I'm also kinda just realizing this right now.) I'll feel uncomfortable, unsatisfied, tired, etc. in the relationship, but I won't leave, I'll try to see the better in the situation, I'll feel guilty for wanting to leave/or the other person will guilt me. I'll delude myself into thinking that there's something there worth fighting for. A lot of the times I'll end up giving and the other person won't have anything in return, whether that's emotions, physical gifts, mental support, whatever. Instead, I've realized that I need to set standards for other people and if they can't provide what I need then I can/should leave. Everybody doesn't deserve a second, third, fourth, fifth chance to prove themselves as a good friend, lover, teacher, etc. Also I'll feel trapped and stuck; like I don't have a choice but to stay because I struggle with wanting to go out and find another person/people to develop understanding and feelings for. Because what if they aren't people I could be happy with either? Might as well stay then... The logic behind my reasoning to stay isn't there and it's really just because I'm closing myself off to others. *Sigh*, I'll get there someday.

I have a vexing combination of Saturn in Libra, but also Venus in Cancer. It is so difficult because throughout my life I have always craved intimacy due to my Venus placement, but my Saturn in Libra has ensured that this never takes place. I have Venus co junction Saturn conjunct the north node. I'm 49 and yes my husband is more than 7 years older. My mum projected guilt onto me for enjoying things or self care...father used to call me selfish a lot (classic narcissist) overly critical, controlling, cold, unemotional, harsh. Made me feel not good enough. I have Venus and Neptune in Capricorn (not conjunct though), Neptune in the 7th house, and Saturn square Venus. How this has manifested in my life so far is that I had a lot of illusions of what my life with this girl I loved would be like for years and years to come, only for our relationship to never make it past friendship before even our friendship ended after 4 years. As you might guess, I also have Saturn in Aries and Mars in Pisces... not the best combination if you want to take action. Hi Lada, I have Venus Square Saturn almost exact. I'm 20, but in my life, I have struggled with social anxiety, low self esteem, and I feel lonely a lot too. I have Saturn Trine Ascendant which makes it even worse, because that aspect makes people come off very stiff and unfriendly. I don't mean to come off that way, and I wish I could be more loose, more fun, more friendly. Should I seek counseling?

I have venus and saturn in conjunction in the 10th house of career and public image. This is true up to degree. I always felt lovable but women would tell me I was not. I felt I needed to down play my looks because of negativity from women, but I never felt ugly. I didn't have too many bad relationships because if it wasn't what I wanted I would end it. I would also wait no matter how long for the right one. I did marry older.

Wow you really explained a lot for me just now... I have both my sun and moon(gem) in 7th house, and leo mars square pluto scorpio, opposing pisces/aqua saturn, and I have a value of 54 between Saturn and Venus(Taurus). I've always heard/read about how my sun and moon in the 7th house would mean that I'm really into relationships and feel the need to be in them. Despite this I've never been in one and I'm 23. But here I see that I need to have patience for the right person, which I have always felt, honestly. I have a lot of crushes haha but I hold back a lot from pursuing things, for one because I'll have many overlapping crushes which I don't feel on a deep level and I can move on quickly, but also because I'm terrified of rejection, even in new friendships.

Yup, relationships have been hard and long, with partners atleast 7 Years older. Can the singing help in overcoming? In my first relationship i singed a lot and i was happy and felt loved. But, with the next relationship i got a fear That I'm not a good singer and so i stop singing. Helo Lada, thank you very much for your videos... I have the dreaded saturn venus conjunct in my Ninth house. I'm fifty seven and not in a relationship ( need I say). But I feel it also affected all of my relationships/ friendships /siblings/ parents... pretty heavy duty- and when I hear people say you have to start by loving yourself more I get quite irritated because that is not where it is at (at least not for me) it is far stronger and if comes from without not within. As you said more like a karma. I had four planets in libra all of them at l4 or 13 degrees during the lunar eclipse recently and am hoping some thing would shift for the better-

Hey, Lada. I don't have this aspect but I've been conducting a research involving aspects in Astrology the last two years and Venus-Saturn are the most prevalent aspects I have found in charts of women who worked/works in the sex industry (strippers/porn actresses). Most of them told me they're able to detach emotionally from the situation and clearly have issues regarding self esteem, so they don't do that only motivated by the money but because unconsciously they need that external validation of being desired. Pay attention to House placements and conditions of this aspect. I have the opposition, 1st House Saturn in Rohini opposite 7/8 House Venus in Jyestha. Traditionally this aspect signifies an older spouse (age gap.). However the 1st House is the SELF and the 7th House is OTHERS (including spouses). I’ve never found older men attractive. My natal Saturn is retrograde and debilitated. Another astrologer interpreted the placement as a past life experience where I was likely forced into a “practical” match with an older person at the expense of genuine romantic love and sexual intimacy. This is a lifetime where I’m supposed to have the romantic happy love to reconcile the opposite energies.

I love how you explain things, and the style of your videos. You put so much thought in the contents and looks of your videos, it really is a pleasure watching your videos. I'm new to all of this, but after looking at my birth chart, I see Venus and Saturn both in the 6th house (Leo). After watching some of your videos I understand this is not the most ideal position for Venus, but my question is do the degrees of the planets make a difference? Venus is at 00:43 degrees, and Saturn is at 25:56 degrees. Jupiter is in the 5th house (cancer) at 12:33 degrees. Some say degrees is what really matters, so in my case would Venus be more influenced by Jupiter? 7th house (Virgo) is occupied by Mars at 1:31 degrees, would this mean Mars is influenced more by Saturn. Actually Venus is quite away from Saturn in your horoscope, so it will suffer much less than a Venus right within 6-7 degrees from Saturn so you are sheltered from the most difficulgt influence, only occasionally you can feel it more strongly. :)Jupiter cannot aspect Venus in Leo from Cancer, If Jupiter was in Aries or Sag then for sure, but signs next to each other do not aspect each other. Your Mars is way more influences of Saturn as it is conjunct it despite out of sign.

You probably attract very emotional people into your life. Any time I see Venus [R], I see the native as not serious in relationships or a player. They'll get a good thing, and then do something to mess up the relationship. You'll love a person and then find some reason why you shouldn't love them and move on. Saturn [R] promises love in the second half of your life. Saturn in the 7th House means many lessons to learn in relationships. Sun and Moon on the Ascendant, try to think about what you want to see manifest in your love life and it will happen for you.
