Thank you ! Thank you !! Just wanted to say that I found your video very informative and helpful. I tried to watch someone else's video, and it was just about swearing, and could not understand it at all. I followed your advice, and the hardest thing for me was removing the old one. I tried using 2 screwdrivers to no avail. I ended up using an old channel-lock set of pliers and finally got them out. I was afraid of breaking the tabs, and I was being too delicate. Finally, after saying a little prayer, I just grabbed them with conviction and ripped the old one right out. I cleaned up the area by spraying that area with compressed air, and put the new one in, and it went it as smooth as silk !! And, Oh my Goodness !! That new one felt like I had a new car again... smooooooooth as velvet. I can't believe it now -- when I'm driving, I'm not fighting to get the turn signal to work at all. It is amazing what a small change will do to your car. My 2007 Saturn is just getting broken in. I only have 310,000 miles on it, and I hope to make it until 500,000 miles. Next on my list is odometer lights, and fixing the temperature in the mirror, but this gave me a great start !! Thanks again. I really appreciate you putting it out there for some of us DIY'ers !! Thanks for the informative video. I helped me replace the broken switch. But the size of the screws mentioned are 5.5 mm, not 6.5 mm. At least on my Canadian Model of a 2007 Saturn Vue.

it is unlikely that your turn signal would need replacing. you may have a bulb out so you may wish to look a bit closer at the bulbs. I wish you the best on your repair

do you have any idea why the component would keep going out? it’s been replaced twice and each time before it goes out there’s a small plume of smoke.

you may wish to look at the electrical connection and if that looks good you may wish to purchase a better grade of multifunction switch. the copied generic parts from eBay many times are questionable in quality. I wish you the best on your repair

My turn signal works intermediately, like it would be working then it would just stop. But when i click on the hazzards it works. I wonder if this would fix the problem. 04 Saturn vue v6

Typically the hazards are independent from the turn signal. You may also wish to look closer at the wire harness

you may wish to look closer at the wire connection that plugs into the switch, if it is not bright and shiny, cleaning it with contact cleaner may fix your issue. I wish you the best on your repair
